We know it might seem like constant cooling would be best, but it turns out our bodies actually respond more strongly to changes in temperature than constant temperature, which your body quickly starts to tune out (think of how fast you get used to a cold pool after you’ve been in it a minute or two). If you haven’t already, we recommend experimenting with different types of cooling sessions in the app! Longer sessions will have gentler, more sustained cooling pulses with longer rest periods in between vs. a shorter sessions which will have a more rapid pattern of quick cooling pulses. If you find that you prefer cooling that's a bit zippier, we recommend trying out something shorter like the 3- or 5-minute Hot Flash Relief sessions! (Pro Tip: You can assign your favorite cooling mode to one of your Wave’s buttons using the Preset function, which means you’ll be able to repeat that session just by pressing the button on your Wave.)
