Helpful for temperature sensitivity

I bought this on a whim after seeing other reviews from people with multiple sclerosis, in the hopes that it would help with my temperature sensitivity from the disease (to both heat and cold). So far, it works pretty good! It's not a magic fix, but it does provide me some relief when it is very hot outside. I find that I need to use the app to program it for longer sessions (beyond the standard 10 minutes) to really help with my symptoms. One small complaint is that the band gets tarnished very easily after only a couple weeks of use, which is kind of annoying. I've been using a jewelry polishing cloth to keep it clean.

I was recommended the Embr Wave 2 when I started an intense course of Chemotherapy following a cancer operation. This device has made the process of recovery so much easier to manage. The all night warming has helped me sleep and in the day the stress relieving cold setting has made the tiredness and discomfort more manageable.

Truly a life changer

After still having severe hot flashes well into my late sixties, I was no longer able to take the hormone patches. As a result, I just had to put up with multiple hot flashes every day and almost every night. I would wake up at night literally drenched in perspiration from a hot flash.
And then I discovered the Embr Wave. From the first day after receiving it, no more hot flashes!! As soon as one starts, I turn on the Wave and it stops the hot flash in its tracks. I use the night mode every night and now no more waking up soaking wet. When I said this was a life changer, I really meant it. I realize it may not work for everyone, but for me it works better than the hormone patches ever did, with none of the risky side effects. This device is simply incredible.

I had my first hot flash in at 32. I have had them everyday since then and I am know 66 years old. They were driving me crazy and Embr is the answer. It is amazing how it works.

needs work

I tried this for 7 days--when you press the button you get the cooling pulses for 3 minutes but in fact that's how long a hot flash lasts for so either way your photoflash will end--I tried this and an ice cube on my wrist and got the same results but obviously you can't have an ice cube handy 24/7. It I think cut down the severity of my hot flashes a little but not enough for me to keep it. The overnight session is a hit and miss--if you get a hot flash at 3am and the cool pulses don't start until 3:11am it's of no use. The device needs to be made smaller. I didn't like the constant snug wearing of this--it needs to be snug enough to touch the skin. I feel after the first few days it didn't trick my brain anymore--my brain adapted--lol--I think it's a great idea though and maybe has a placebo effect as well for some. Every woman is different--it needs to be tried out first.

I am an 81 year old still having hot flashes all night. Thanks to Embr Wave, I can finally get some sleep. I would love to see this product sold in Canada. I am very thankful I have a friend living in the U.S.A.. I would highly reccomend.

Worth every penny

I recently started experiencing incredibly frequent, severe hot flashes. To say they disrupted my life would be a drastic understatement. I was ready to run into traffic when I ordered this in desperation. I've had it for just a few days now and I can't begin to explain the relief it has brought me. As soon as I feel a flash coming on, I hit the cooling button and almost immediately start to experience relief, and I'd say in maybe a minute or so, the flash has stopped before it really got a chance to start. I'm so grateful for this product, truly.
