Love the technology and the ease of subscribing. Dislike the 1 to 2 hours daily charging and the inability to change out the band for a more comfortable one, like I can with my Apple Watch.

Thanks for the review! We sell two different styles of bands on our site (vegan leather with a magnetic closure and woven nylon with a velcro closure) if you want to try something new. Check them out at embrlabs.com/accessories.
The Wave also uses a standard 18" watch pin, so you can swap in most standard watch bands if you've got your eye on something else.

Great for sleep, not so much for hot humid weather

I purchased the embr 2 for a September trip to Japan when it was scorching hot and humid, enough to give me an awful heat rash on both of my legs. I was disappointed, as I felt like embr 2 did almost nothing. Perhaps it's not much help in sweltering weather.
However, since that trip I've been using it while I sleep. I'm an oven and it has almost solved my night sweats. I'm thrilled! Highly recommend.
I wish the gadget could be charged directly without the small power adapter. I worry that I'll lose it. Plus the tiny prongs on the charger are not robust and disconnect easily.

The Embr Wave 2 really works. I have secondary progressive multiple sclerosis (SPMS.) Which means that it feels 20° - 30° hotter or colder to me I also had a hysterectomy in 2022 which sent me into menopause at the age of 41yo. Between my SPMS and my menopause I am a hot a sweaty mess. The Embr Wave 2 has been great for me.

This works better when you use it intentionally with the app. At first i was just oressing the buttons and not adjusting the temperature and the settings. I get better results when I use it in conjunction with the app.

Helps me regulate

I bought mine a week ago and wow, as im sitting in the break room at work, which is always stuffy, its helping me stay cool. I struggle with over heating and having panic attacks because of it. It's definitely made a difference.

Saving my sleep

This has really helped with my sleep as my hot flashes mostly happen when I lay down. The only issue I have is the light is on all night which can disturb myself and my partner. I do wish it had a longer battery life also.
