Better looks, worse performance.

I'm honestly pretty disappointed in the newer model. They made a big deal about how it had a more powerful cooling function, but it doesn't feel anywhere near as effective as it was on the first model. It's tough to even notice that it's on at times, even in situations where I've used the previous model and found it to be very effective. I will say though that the appearance and size have definitely been improved. But again, in terms of performance, this seems to be a step backward.

I am currently going through menopause and I have Systemic Lupus. One minute I'm sweating up a storm and the next minute I'm freezing. This device has changed my life. I am now able to cool down and warm up at the touch of a button. One of the best features is the overnight sessions. My hot flashes are worse at night, so this little device has saved me from waking up in a soaking wet bed. If you are thinking about buying the Wave 2, do it. It will be the best investment you will make. Take care of your body and it will take care of you.

The Embr Wave 2 was a game changer for me! I have difficulty falling asleep because I always get hot in the middle of the night. Embr Wave 2 helps me sleep more comfortably at night. During the day, I get hot very easily but Embr Wave 2 has helped me cool down when I need it. I’m excited and so grateful to have Embr Wave 2! It’s definitely a great investment and I can’t go one day without it!

Embr Wave2 has really helped me manage my sleep better and helped me take some control when I’m having hot flashes. I really miss it when I have to take it off for the short period of time it takes to charge it. I changed my settings so that both buttons cool, but I’m kinda looking forward to the cold weather, when I can try out the warm function. Embr Wave2 is a game changer for those who have temperature control issues!

My doctor suggested I give this a try for menopause symptoms. It helps with night sweats and hot flashes in particular - which really helps with sleeping.
The biggest downside is that it has to be controlled by the phone app. The buttons don’t work consistently. Fortunately there is an 8 hr sleep cooling option - so you don’t have to mess with your phone in the middle of the night. It would be really helpful to have an Apple Watch app for quick adjustments during the day. Digging out your phone every time you want to adjust the temp is a pain. Having the buttons work reliably would be nice as well.
