I bought my Embr Wave several months ago. Other than the magneti portion of the strap coming loose within the first few weeks (was replaced free), it has worked well. Overall, I think it helps, as I need it cool to sleep, and it's fully adjustable for cooling (or warmth).
I would recommend this to a friend!

Okay so I mostly love this, but I think the technology needs to be perfected. It does help me cool down/warm up moderately. I suffer from moderate-severe hyperhidrosis, so I don't expect this to help me 100%. The issue I have is that, when it's cooling, the actual product heats up bc it's using power, so it almost counteracts the true intent of the product. It results in my wrist inadvertently alternating from extreme cold to extreme warmth (which is uncomfortable). This technology needs improvement. Also the battery life isn't ideal. I wish it lasted much longer. If these issues were fixed, then this would get a 5/5. I'm looking forward to the embr wave 3

An ideal non- medicated solution to perimenopause symptoms of hot flashes.

My husband gifted me this on Mothers day 2024. It became a game changer for me after I started experiencing the beginning of what appeared as intermittent hot flashes and night sweats from what I’ve accepted I’m going through- perimenopause. I read all of the reviews before mentioning it to him as a non- medicated solution to my female discomforts- some bad but most were positive so I was convinced it was great for me. I was right- it alleviated the discomfort a lot however the only thing that makes it uncomfortable is the wrist band it came with that’ll squeeze my wrist and cause another form of discomfort. So I wasn’t able to wear it all night how during the day I’d wear it for hours and hours.
I even mentioned to my younger sister who’s now starting to experience - what I was clueless about when I started - perimenopause symptoms including the hot flashes. She’s in Abu Dhabi so it’s sort of difficult to source an Embr there. Nevertheless I’ll definitely recommend to those likewise.

I love my embr wave 2…however I do get my arm sweaty from the band and when you hit the cold to handle the heat on your arm from the device it gets this weird cold wet sensation. I also have very sensitive nerves and can feel the heat the machine lets off while engaging in the cooling process. It has however saved me from several extreme heat moments that would normally cause me to be sick.
