I’m undergoing Hormone treatment for cancer, and hot flashes were getting very annoying. I have had the Wave II for about three weeks now, and it is amazing. As soon as I feel a hot flash coming on I hit the button, and within two minutes or sooner it’s gone. This product really works I urge anyone having hot flashes to get one of these. I know it’s expensive, but it’s so worth it. I’m also experiencing chills, and the heat mode doesn’t seem to be as effective.

This is my wife's third Ember Wave...and the first Ember Wave 2. It doesn't get as cold as the original and programming settings is impossible with poor instructions. Recharging is simpler. The original model is simpler, more usable and 30% cheaper...

It keeps me from waking up at night with sweats. However, it doesn’t seem to cool down hot flashes fast enough. Even though I have it on cool (level 4) it sometimes feels warm. I’m still on the fence.
One con is that it’s a little heavy on my wrist so I can’t wear it while working out.

Looooook, I was resigned to the fact that my hot flashes would go on and on ad infinitum! I had accepted that even though I’m way past the menopause stages, these horrific hot flashes would overstay their welcome. When a hot flash hits, my legs, back and arms bead up with sweat and the sweat drips off of me like I just stepped out of the shower. I couldn’t sleep for all the tossing and turning and shedding of blankets - just to turn around and cover back up once it was over and the cold sets in from the sweating. UGHHHH. Then I’m came across an ad for the Wave 2. I wasn’t sure if the price was worth it. What if it was a scam?? But I saw that it was verified by well known businesses and it had a money back guarantee, so I crossed my fingers and hoped for the best as I hit the purchase button. I stalked the mail person till it arrived. I ripped open the box and there she sat in all her rose gold glory. She is as partially charged so I put her on just in time for an ugly hot flash. Then just as the flames started to creep upon me, my new bestie put out her trust stop sign and yelled. NAW BRO NOT TODAY. She made that hot flash pack its bags and go. The smile that grew on my face was EPIC!! I used it all that afternoon. At night I saw the “all night cool” option in the app and tried it out. NO MORE STRIPPING OFF BLANKETS AND NO TOSSING AND TURNING!! OMGOODNESS YALL!! You HAVE to get this. It’ll be your new best friend - I PROMISE you that. I’ll neverrrrrr go a day without my bestie the Embr Wave 2. Now I’m off to buy the comfort band so when I workout, it will stay in place better. THANK YOUUUUU for creating this masterpiece

I've had my Embr Wave for about a month and find it very helpful. I activate either the cooling or heating button as soon as I feel the need and within a few moments I get relief. I wish I had known about it 3 years ago. The only suggestion I have is if it were more slim. I find it's bulkiness makes it difficult to type when I'm at work. Other than that I recommend it to anyone who has been suffering with hot or cold flashes.

Device got warm in 9 hr mode

I got it to help with night sweats, and while it did work when it turned on as I first put it on, the device got very warm on my wrist overnight, defeating the whole purpose! :(
