It heats and cools but I only feel it at the unit location on my wrist. This is a localized solution, not a whole body one, especially around the neck and face, which is where I feel hot flashes.

Some people's bodies respond to Embr Wave super fast and they're able to get that full-body relief right from the get-go; but other people's bodies need a little more time to adjust before the Wave feels fully effective. We've had so many Wavers tell us over the years that they weren't sure if it was working at first, but after a couple of weeks of use, things just started to click for them! Still waking up soaked

It is not working for me I was really hoping it would work at night because I wake up constantly sweating from night sweats but I’m still waking up sweating the first time I used it it did cut off a hot flash but it doesn’t work every time and certainly doesn’t work at night

I am amazed at how this works. After a bout with cancer I have been plagued with hot flashes and was desperate for relief. I am glad I decided to get the Embr Wave. I only wish the battery stayed charged longer.

I have had my Embr Wave 2 for almost a month and I could not be happier! It took a week or so to get used to how it functions and to tailor the settings to my preferences, so if you get one, don't give up on it too soon! Now that it is fine-tuned to my needs, it's great! I purchased it mainly to use the cooling function for hot flashes, but it's great for warming on cold mornings also!
