This product delivers far from what it advertises--and not in a good way. It automatically shuts off every 5 to 10 minutes (with a full charge), and does little to nothing for hot flash relief.
I am returning the product today, as it is very disappointing.

Shari, we're sorry you had a bad experience with your Wave! If you don't make any changes with the app, the default cooling and warming sessions last for 10 minutes (meaning the device will automatically turn off after the 10-minute session ends). The app lets you choose different durations, from 3 minutes to 9 hours.

I have a thyroid condition so managing my temperature is very difficult. I can’t cool down when I’m overheated and I can’t heat up when I’m freezing. The Embr Wave fixes those issues in seconds and allows me to enjoy life to the fullest!
Wouldn’t be caught without it!!!

I have an auto immune

I have an auto immune disorder that causes me to always be hot. They don't know what caused it or how to get rid of it. The ember 2 has been great help keeping me cooler at times. It prevents me from having a total melt down and being completely soaked.

I mostly use it at night because that's when I got most of my hot flashes. I'll press it when I feel a hot flash but it doesn't stop it or seem to make it go away quicker as the flash usually only lasts about a minute anyway. I have used the 30 minute program when I go to bed to aid in going to sleep. I can't really discern at this point if it helps more than having a fan going and a cooler room.

The Embr Wave 2 has been a God send. It doesn't completely rid me of my hot flashes but it has definitely reduced the duration and intensity of them. I recommend it to every one I speak to about it. I have had Embr Wave 2 for a month now. It works well for me. I have found if I use it at the very beginning of a hot flash it lessens the intensity of the hot flash. I appreciated the 30 day trial and will be keeping the Embr wave 2.
