Embr Wave 2 has brought me so much relief, and helps me sleep better than I have in years. The various time settings offer the perfect amount of comfort as needed. The design is subtle and looks good with casual or more professional attire. The unit charges quickly - and I only remove it when I shower or charge. This has helped me survive an exceptionally hot summer - looking forward to using the warming option through a tough Midwestern winter too!

I'm a 75-year-old guy being treated for prostate cancer. One side effect of the drugs is that I get hot flashes, which are quite annoying. The Embr Wave 2, if I trigger it early enough, reduces (sometimes eliminates) the intensity and duration of the flash. This device has made a significant difference for me - I recommend it to any guy who gets hot flashes because of his treatment for prostate cancer.

Helpful for temperature sensitivity

I bought this on a whim after seeing other reviews from people with multiple sclerosis, in the hopes that it would help with my temperature sensitivity from the disease (to both heat and cold). So far, it works pretty good! It's not a magic fix, but it does provide me some relief when it is very hot outside. I find that I need to use the app to program it for longer sessions (beyond the standard 10 minutes) to really help with my symptoms. One small complaint is that the band gets tarnished very easily after only a couple weeks of use, which is kind of annoying. I've been using a jewelry polishing cloth to keep it clean.

My wife suffers from hot flashes. It was getting to a point where the air conditioner was on blast and she still needed the ceilng fan--while I had to huddle under the sheets and endure the coldness, even during winter time. I would sometimes sleep in the room in our basement because the ceiling fan was just too strong. Or she would sometimes have cold flashes and the heat was on...she would hide under the sheets and I would had to lie on top of them! She cannot take estrogen and I would end up getting colds due to my body trying to adjust to the unforseen room-temperature adjustments.
As I was watching TV, I came across an ad: Embr Wave. As I was listening on its effectiveness and reviews, I had to research it myself. So without her knowing, I went ahead and ordered it.
It seemed like I was more excited than her getting the device as I delved into the instructions. She did a test run and noticed that her body did sense the temperature changes. She slept with it, placed the settings to "sleep" and slept comfortably thru the night without having a hot flash episode. When she woke up, no night sweats!
Conclusion: it works! Thanks Embr Wave! I could finally sleep with the a/c on and the ceiling fan off. For those husbands that also go thru this, I can say: "No more doghouse blues!" :grinning:

It Really Works!

I have to admit, I was completely skeptical at first. I bought myself an Embr Wave out of desperation from my hot flashes. I figured I’d give it a try. If it didn’t work, I’d return it and go to the doctor to get those injections my friends told me about. I am not one who likes to take medication or put things in my body, so I was trying to avoid this route.
Fast forward to today, and it’s been about three weeks since my Embr Wave arrived. From that moment until now, I haven’t had one hot flash. They have literally stopped since I began wearing mine. I can’t explain it that well, but when people ask me why I’m not carrying my fan around all the time at work anymore they believe me… because they saw me suffering. We’ll suffer no more, my friends… let this be your answer too! I’m so glad I gave it a try. You will be too.
