While it was, of course, hot and cold from the jump, the way my body learned to respond to those sensations completely morphed. Whether you are heating or cooling, your body adapts to “knowing what to do”

I purchased the Embr 2 for my daughter....it seems to be working well for her...we has said she wished the cooling would work longer but can't she hasn't been able to find directions on how to do it.

I have been using the Embr wave for a couple of years now. I am have pleased with the companies support of the product. I’ve had a face plate replaced. Also I have had a new unit due to the band attachment broke. As far as operation it has been a wonderful tool in helping control my hot flashes and night sweats. I would recommend this product to anyone who needs that extra cooling. Thanks for a great product

A different "change of life"

I truly appreciate this technology. As soon as I feel the first signs of a hot flash coming on, I hit that special little button and within a minute or two it stops....so much better than grabbing a fan! I love the all night preset, it really helps with a better nights sleep for me....and my husband!

Unfortunately, I am not happy with the Embr Wave 2. I purchased the Embr Wave 1 several years ago and I love it! I used it often, even while sleeping. Very effective for night sweats. I would give the Embr Wave 1, an 8 out of 10. The only downside being that it’s clunky and uncomfortable. Other than that the functions work as advertised. It’s great!
I would give the Embr Wave 2, a 2 out of 10. Where the Embr Wave 1 was uncomfortable, the Embr Wave 2 is very comfortable and sleek looking, especially with the comfort band. That’s the extent of the upside in comparison. The most notable difference is that to charge this device you have to carry around a separate gadget, I’ll refer to as a charge station or base. The charger is plugged into the base, and then the device sits on top of it to charge. So you have to carry around the base with you. The Embr Wave 1 charged directly from the charger to the device making it easy, and convenient, and on the go.
The second issue is the battery life, which seems to drain faster than the Embr Wave 1. I recognize that the Embr Wave 2 has stronger cooling capability, which I have to say is an upside, so I’ll change it to a 3 out of 10. But this battery issue circles me back to the inconvenient charging issue. I would not make this purchase again and stick with the Embr Wave 1.

Hot flashes in the lab!

I have to wear a lab coat at work and get very warm with no way to cool off. Probably hot flashes I suppose. :laughing::fire:
My Embr definitely helps. It doesn’t completely fix the problem but I’m glad that I ordered it. It definitely makes me more comfortable.
