Love, love, love!

I’ve had the Embr Wave 1 for several years and loved it. Unfortunately it was stolen so I happily upgraded to the Wave 2. It’s terrific! It’s a little easier to use with or without the app and the new design feels great. I use it mostly for cooling down my hot flashes and love that it works so quickly. I will sometimes use it on a plane for a warming effect if the cabin is a bit chilly and it works just as well. I was miserable suffering from hot flashes for years till the Embr Wave saved me!

I really like the smaller size and lighter weight band and new charger. Sometimes it feels like the wave 2 doesn’t get as cool as the original.

One of the top issues I have with MS is Heat & Temperature Sensitivity. However, I also love sunbathing and I could use more sun due to low Vitamin D levels too. I can now enjoy outdoor summer events, and a few drinks, without the party-stopping symptoms heat and alcohol would exacerbate!! I have a little bit of my life back, and I love it!
I did notice if the strap was tight enough to my wrist to stay in put, it pushed the sides onto my skin causing me to feel the heat of the outer shell. I'm going to try a different band style, but I do love the look of this one!

More Feminine Version of Embr Wave

The new version of Embr Wave is smaller than the original and fits a smaller wrist better. The smaller size and round shape are more feminine and the narrower band is gentler on the wrist. The settings buttons are on the side rather than the face, so there is no possibility of accidental triggering. The rose gold finish is very fashionable and attractive, although I liked the brushed silver finish of the original Embr Wave as well.

Helpful cooling

Just using the cooling feature so far as it is summer plus I have night sweats. ☹️🥵 It is helpful to wear to bed and helps me get comfortable enough to fall asleep. It doesn’t stop them or anything, but I feel noticeably cooler using it. So far I have been super basic about it—no app, just punch the cool button when I want a cold blast. I didn’t use the first wave, so I have no comparison notes. Overall, I really like it and think I might even want a second one to have handy for outdoor excursions.
