which idiot designed the recharging change?

The previous Embr was charged using a simple micro USB. Easy, common, find a charging station anywhere. However, with the new Embr some nitwit decided that something designed to be used by menapausal women needed to have an external charging platform - a tiny little disc - with a if you are not exactly in place it doesn't work contact point - to really complicate their lives. Firstly this annoys me because I cannot charge the embr other than with this disc. Have Embr forgotten people work. People travel. People go out and use their device and when it needs to be recharged they have to risk losing the charging disc by hauling it from place to place or wait until they get home. WHY DID YOU DO THIS? Very not happy with the recharge. The actual useage- function - I can't report on since charging the frekin thing is so much work I've almost given up on it.

I thought I liked the Wave 1, but then I got the Wave 2—and what a game changer! The shape and design are much sleeker. It seems to pack more punch with respect to temperature delivered, too. I am so much more comfortable with my Wave 2.

V2 is Nice!!!

Really feel like Embr made some of the correct changes needed to v2 of the Wave. Starting with an oval design which I feel is much more comfortable then the V1 rectangle. Secondly the cold phase seems to get colder than the first gen as well; really feels like an ice cube on your wrist. 2 things keep me from giving it a five star. First there still is an issue of heat when you have it max cool for a long time. Secondly, the comfortable bands are not as big as default band.

I first tried the original Embr Wave and just recently upgraded to the Embr Wave 2. The first version was amazing, but the following features in the second version make this one ten times better:
1. The buttons to adjust the temperature are on the side, which prevent you from accidentally hitting it during your every day activities.
2. The temperature maxes are so much more powerful. The cooling effect you can feel so much better on the 2nd version.
3. It's more stylish and looks like an actual watch.

There really aren't any negatives with this version. Battery life is the same as the first version and the new app is so much more user friendly.
Overall I would highly recommend investing in one, preferably the second version.

Simply Outstanding Product, Exceptional Performance

Actually the device is used b my wife who frequently suffers overheating - both the original Wave and Wave 2 have proved to be of significant value for relief of this malady which is virtually unbelievable in it;s performance. She currently uses W2 during the day and W1 at night for sleep - One distinct advantage of the W2 is complete operational control of the device via her cell phone. She loves the new color too! Happy wife - happy life! Very well worth the purchase.

I love my Embr Wave 2! It helps in so many ways - from cooling me down when I'm hiking to helping me get to sleep at night. It helps my body, which doesn't know how to regulate my body temperature well, do just that. The Embr Wave was great - the Embr Wave 2 is even better!
