Embr 2 not an improvement

After using the Embr2 for quite a while it is not an improvement on the original. I went back to the original. I imagine the Embr2 is just trying to lesson cost of manufacturing.

We always tried to go with the option that most closely aligned with the feedback we’ve received over the years, but we know that different people may have different preferences and not everyone would love every change. It wasn’t real clear, but you have to activate the unit to stop the hot flash. Just watering the unit isn’t enough. How do you sleep thru the night when you have to wake up to press the button that controls the unit? I found the controls information in the reviews. It is very vague in the advertisement. It is manual not automatic, you can’t set it and forget it. To bad.
I ordered this for my night hot flashes. We will see, I am not looking forward to having to wake up.

Usable but still bulky

This unit does a decent job of moderating hot flashes; however, it is so bulky it has been difficult to get used to wearing all the time. In fact while sleeping it is too noticeable to get comfortable.

Hi Paul -- Thanks for that feedback! We are always looking for way to improve the Wave and were able to make the Wave 2 smaller than it's predecessor! As for sleeping with it on, it can require some adjustment but we suggest trying it on different hands or on top of your wrist rather than the bottom.
