A Fun Freezer

The cornerstone of my Kitchen !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I went to the walls and replaced my kitchen from the outside - in. Eventually the cabinets were installed and now it came to selecting the big parts - like Fridge, stove, sink, etc.
I went "off the reservation" by selecting a full-size Fridge and opting to put the "freezer" in the garage. This way I have a much larger Fridge that brings an element of sophistication and style to my project that really works well for me.

Great Fridge!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was used to the regular two door refrigerators all my life, but this one is great! I love that the water is on the inside, not the outside. It gives the refrigerator a much cleaner look with one handle and having the water on the inside.

Beautiful but ice maker quits

Beautiful, big and spacious. However, the ice maker will stop producing ice after a year. I thought I was being one step ahead by buying 5 yr extended warranty, but it has been a hassle. I’m on my 3rd company, no one can fix it … so they just keep passing me off

Nice freezer - wish the shelves were deeper and....

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is a beautiful freezer however, We have had trouble with the soft drawer freezing the ice cream hard as a rock but that may be a temperature thing. Also, the ice tastes like tap water. Is there something wrong with the filter or is this just the best it can do?

Ice Maker and Interior Frost Issues

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I read other reviews concerning the ice maker and interior frost build up issues and ours has these same issues. We have done much of the same troubleshooting as far as resetting the ice maker and cleaning out the "snow" that builds up in the interior, but can't seem to stop them from occurring. We change the filters as recommended by manufacturer and use Frigidaire brand replacement filters, so unsure what is causing the frost build up. The ice maker randomly shuts off and stops making ice for no apparent reason. We have reset it, looked to see if it might be frosted over, but can't figure it out. Then when about to submit a claim for repair, it starts working again, so probably a matter of time before it dies. We have had the freezer about 15 months, so outside of the manufacturer warranty and would require out of pocket for repair. :(

Lots of space but a few flaws

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The unit is roomy and lights are well placed, so it fits plenty of food but still easy to find things. The in-door water dispenser is a great feature. It could use a deli drawer and a butter or other indoor drawer. Finally, mine arrived with 2 defective parts and I’ve been having problems getting resolution from Frigidaire
