Excellent refrigerator purchase!

We were especially looking for a built-in look but without the built-in price. The Frigidaire refrigerator and freezer hit the nail on the head along with being a top rated brand. I love the look and the functionality on the inside. My ONLY complaint so far is a personal preference—I wish there was one more shelf in each!

Ice maker issues within the first few weeks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved the look of the freezer/fridge combo and loved the pricepoint as well. We finally had ours installed in September 2023 and by October 2023, the freezer has ice buildup behind and under the lower drawers (left side). The repairman said the water should go from a hose into a funnel to fill the icecube trays, but the icemaker shelf shifts too much and the water is missing the funnel and building up. The repairman ordered us a new icemaker since it's under warranty, but I suspect we'll continue to have issues with unit like so many others. If the new icemaker fits tighter and stops the leak, I'll be happy to update my review.

Replaced older model, numerous plusses and minuses

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced a 6-year old version of this exact same model line by Frigidaire Professional with this new one. The are several plusses and minuses. On the plus side, having the chilled water dispenser is a very nice addition. But there is no catch tray for any overflow or spills, so you have to be careful and ready with a towel. The new interior design is also more visually appealing, and the unit runs quieter and is more energy efficient. On the minus side, there is less usable interior space. The shelves are over an inch shallower, reducing the amount of food they can hold. The door shelves are also more flimsy and seem prone to breakage. And the color of the stainless steel is slightly off from my other older Frigidaire Professional appliances, so my kitchen no longer exactly matches.

Big improvements over prior version, but less usable space

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced an older version of this exact same freezer with this new model. Overall, there are big improvements - like an ice maker that actually automatically shuts off, a freeze boost feature, and lower energy use. But in the process, there is slightly less interior space than the older model. The shelves are a little over an inch shallower front to back, and the new ice maker and slide-out ice drawer takes up room. Overall, I am very happy with this new design.
