Manufacturing Mistake

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were not able to hook up the water to the freezer for the ice maker. The place where you hook it up was covered up with some kind of spray styrofoam when it was manufactured. My husband had to pick it off!! I would like to talk to someone from Fridgidaire to make sure this is noted in the event we have a future problem with this unit.

New Freezer

First of all I had to wait 7 months before I received it. Then I've had 4 breakdowns where major components needed replacement. It would be a great appliance if it didn't break down so much. Maybe I got a lemon

Nice

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a prior model of this freezer that matched the fridge. The fridge had been repaired multiple times over the past two years that the manufacturer replaced it with this a new model, although they replaced the fridge for no charge, I had to purchase this freezer to have a matching set, which didn't seem fair. Anyways, it's been installed now for about 30 days, but so far so good and the interior layout and design is superior to the model it replaced. Posting the review because the manufacture offered an entry for a $3,000 sweepstake for posting. Probably wont win, but if I do it will make me whole for having to purchase a new freezer to match the fridge they replaced.

control board for the compressor

yes the control board for the compressor went out and the fridge and is only 13 months old very disappointing for my new home with such a nice looking fridge Had an Lg in my last home lasted 14 years with out any problems

Fantastic freezer

Beautiful but ice maker quits

Beautiful, big and spacious. However, the ice maker will stop producing ice after a year. I thought I was being one step ahead by buying 5 yr extended warranty, but it has been a hassle. I’m on my 3rd company, no one can fix it … so they just keep passing me off
