This was a replacement of a defective freezer (same model) that had given us trouble for a while. The new unit is working well, but it seems that something happened during installation, where the fridge door now makes a loud creaking metal sound whenever it's opened/closed. Something is not right since the freezer was installed. Maybe something with the attachment kit? It's so frustrating. We've spent a lot on these units, only to have to already replace one that was only a few years old, and now we're still having trouble. So frustrating...

I can understand how frustrating it must be to deal with problems both with the previous unit and now the new one, especially after having invested so much in these appliances.
The loud creaking metal sound from the fridge door definitely isn’t normal, and it sounds like there may be an issue with the installation, possibly related to the attachment kit or the way the door is aligned. I completely understand how aggravating it can be to have a new appliance installed only to face additional issues.
To resolve this, I recommend the following:
1. Check the door alignment: Sometimes, a door that’s not properly aligned can cause friction against the frame, resulting in noise. 2. Examine the attachment kit: If something was loose or incorrectly installed during the freezer’s setup, it might be impacting the fridge door. 3. Door hinges: Inspecting the door hinges could also help to identify if they’re misaligned or need adjustment.

Frigidaire Refrigerator Review

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently purchased a Frigidaire - 19 Cu. Ft. Single-Door Refrigerator and overall, we are happy with the appliance, though there are a few things we would change. We really like the built-in water dispenser - it's convenient and works well. The overall size of the fridge is also great, with plenty of space! However, we do wish there was a designated butter compartment in the door. It's something small but really useful, and we miss having that feature. Also, a few of the door shelves are quite narrow, making it difficult to fit certain items in comfortably. All in all, it's a solid fridge with good functionality, but a few design improvements could make it even better.

Fantastic Fridge!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my freezer and the ice cubes it makes. However it is a year and a half old and it seems that the ice maker has slowed up making ice. I am not sure what to do as it is making ice, just not much.
