[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our Frigidaire Pro is 7 years old and rusting from the inside out. We cannot replace just the fridge because they are now a different size and will not fit with the freezer.

Seeing rust develop on your appliance is understandably frustrating, especially when it affects the functionality and appearance of a product you’ve trusted for years.
Stainless steel contains chromium, which reacts with the oxygen in the air to form a protective film on the surface of stainless steel. This can occur in areas that have salt in the air. This protective layer prevents stainless steel from rusting or oxidizing in the traditional sense of red oxide flaking off the steel. If you do see a rust-like texture forming on your stainless steel, it is most likely iron particles or contaminants on the surface. If you have surface oxidation on your appliance or your product, you may want to clean it with hot and soapy water or use a cleaner such as a stainless-steel cleaning polish and conditioner, which some of our consumers have used and found very helpful. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our older model Frigidaire had to be replaced w the new model. It has more room. The side shelf’s are one continuous shelf. The dark shelves are very gorgeous and spacious. When we replaced everything we had more space and the whole bottom drawer not in use. That is how much more space we had after putting everything back. Yes they are expensive but the asthetic single front is beautiful and very spacious. And they put water inside. Genius
