Door sensor is faulty

Bought this in March 2024 and it was installed in June 2024. In late January, the sensor started beeping indicating the door is opened when it is in fact not. Appliance repair guy came and found factory foam insulation covering the door reed switch. Now the cover of the switch is scratched. Further, the beeping came back a few hours after the repair guy left! So, this is still an on going issue. Disappointed.

Sometimes, items inside can obstruct the door from shutting completely. Inspect the gasket (rubber seal around the door) for any dirt, damage, or misalignment that could prevent a tight seal. Unplug the freezer from the power outlet for 5-10 minutes to reset the control system. Love this Freezer, but make sure to put a filter on the water to make the ice taste good

I can't believe I finally have enough room in my freezer! After 25 years of having too small a freezer I got this freezer, the fridge that matched, and the trim kit that paired them and it looks amazing. Had them add the water filter though, don't need my ice cubes tasting weird!

So far so good, nice clean look. We replaced the older version with the new version. Unfortunately, had to do fridge and freezer as the sizes changed some.
