Terrible service

I bought this last December. It has not worked a day since we owned it. The repair man they use for there warranty keeps telling me that the freezer is a lemon and will break 5 minutes after he leaves. This freezer has never worked and the first year warranty is almost up. I called electrolux 15 times and can never get through. They have changed every light 6 times they have changed the motherboard….. trans global said they submitted the file 4 times, goemans said they submitted the file 8 times….. it still does not work
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Huge Disappointment

Both my closest friend and my father have the previous model of this freezer which I just loved. Bought this freezer expecting the same or better experience. The surface is the most scratch (NOT RESISTANT) surface I've ever had on an appliance. Those plastic letter magnets that children have (with low magnetism) scratched the surface within a couple days. I didn't realize I needed a kit to share the waterline with the fridge and opted to have a new separate water line run for the freezer as we were doing renovations below shortly after. We finally got the waterline up and running just to find out that the ice maker doesn't work anyways... (of course my warrantee is up). I purchased a full set of frigidaire appliances, having another one with defects on delivery ( and repaired under warranty) I assumed odds were good the rest were OK. Also upon installing the freezer into a custom cutout as per manual, we discover the appliance is bowed on both sides making the cutout look uneven. So far really disappointed in quality.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Drawers don't fit

This is our second one and the quality has changed. Both drawer does not fit into the groove and falls down on one side when you open them. The installer looked at it and said he can't fix it because it is a manufacturing error. Also the new trim kit doesn't fit properly and costs double the price now. The installer had tried 4 different days and even took it home to cut pieces off. Very disappointed because my brand new all fridge and freezer have blue painters tape to stop it scratching our custom cabinetry and it looks terrible

I have had 3 set of these through different home and we only had a problem once ... the fridge stopped working and it was under a year old so the replaced it no problem never had another issue.. I have recommended it to friends and they love it too!

Second unit works great

This is the second unit we received. The first one had an issue where the ice maker line would freeze up. It was a painful process to get diagnosed which is no fault of OEM but the report rep who didn’t understand how to troubleshoot the issue. Once diagnosed, the unit was replaced under warranty. The new unit works great and we love it. We have the matching fridge.
