When it's working, it's great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had problems with our control panel. It would randomly go into Sabbath mode. And then one day it went into Demo mode. The light works in this mode so when you open the door you think everything is fine. But it doesn't cool in this mode. So overnight we lost all our food and woke up to a warm fridge. And there is not one mention of Demo Mode in the manual. Thankfully our appliance guy got us a whole new unit without waiting another year. I hope this one is more reliable. Other than this, we love the fridge.

Thanks for sharing your experience! It's very unusual that your first model would randomly shift modes without being prompted by the controls. We're glad you have a replacement model that is working well! For future reference, to get out of Demo Mode on the fridge, press and hold the minus key (-) and the water filter reset button at the same time for about 3-5 seconds. You can use the same process on the freezer with the minus and ice maker reset buttons. To exit or enter Sabbath Mode, simultaneously press and hold the minus (-) and TEMP F/C buttons. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like it since the technician came back after installation to fix the factory kinked hose on the water supply tap. It was a mess when I pushed the tap, but he was able to replace and fix. It is gorgeous now.

Looks great, works crap

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the look. Hate how it breaks. I don't know if we received a lemon, but we're ready to throw this out. First problem, freezer fan broke and had a huge grinding noise. Repair man came, had to order parts, and came back 2 weeks later. Had to live with that noise. Then the fridge side leaked refrigerant. Had to refill the entire system. Now the icemaker is not working. And now, the freezer door SEALS every time it opens. No amount of force will open it, until 15 minutes later, the vacuum seal slowly lets up. I hate this fridge/freezer.
