Weak link in a great fridge

The Whirlpool and Everydrop filters both restrict water flow considerably! Water pressure in the house (after the meter) is 50psi and the water only very s-l-o-w-l-y comes out of the refrigerator water fill.
To make things worse, these filters are UNGODLY overpriced!

Works as it is supposed to

I was prompted to write a review after seeing the current reviews. I purchased my Whirlpool refrigerator almost a year ago. The filters have been easy to replace and appreciate the reminder to order. The filters also work great and have lasted just about 3 months each.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Afraid to break something- old one won’t pop out

Bought this in November and have yet to install. I can get the old one to release. Why is it so difficult?

It works, but...

It works, but it's expensive. It works because the water taste different without it. It works, but only last around five months. It works, but the need to flush approximately 15 liters of water through a new filter is a ginormous pain and is wasteful. It works, but finding a place to recycle these literally took years (please make this easier). It works, but it doesn't filter out forever chemicals.
I would recommend this to a friend!

So far so good. No problems with filter. I had a different filter also from whirlpool which worked fine but my cc expired and couldn’t change so started again.
