[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Prints posters & daily printing perfectly. Works great as a wireless printer. The main computer that it is connected to has some printing issues. Won't print direct, always have to tap the screen for the paper size & won't print more than 1 copy, even when 2 or more is selected.

The main intent was to have an easy scan to email feature for legal corospondence. Despite many attempts to fix this feature it remains in opperable. This product has cost me more then the purchases price in legal fees.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice affordable printer with affordable cartridges

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this printer to replace Lexmark colour laser C3224 as the supplies costed a fortune, the Cannon printer MF653 is a very nice compromise between ease of use, affordable 067H toner cartridges and ability to have a scanner and basic menu panel. The software could of been better especially for the OCR feature, but it works and WiFi connection to printer is reliable. Once you get hold of using Cannon software for printing and scanning, the printer is a nice working horse.

I purchased this colour laser printer in Feb. 2025 after my 19 year old inkjet finally died. Reading about all the problems with the current inkjet or ink tank printers I decided that a toner printer was what I wanted. The sale price & generally good reviews sealed the deal. So far I've been very happy with the print & scan quality. The only thing I didn't like was the massive online manual which was somewhat intimidating. I had a techie friend set things up & since then all is well.
I would recommend this to a friend!
