Don't buy a Canon Printer

I purchased a mf 656cdw image class 18 months ago.
my last printer was a brother
DO NOT BUY CANON PRINTERS
I spend at least two hours per month re-installing the drivers. the printer will sit and make continual noises for 20 minutes - sounding like it's printing, but nothing is coming out. The scanner is a distant memory, Canon's website has me downloading programs and updating windows (currently windows 11) to try and make their scanning software work ---- it doesn't.
Hate this thing. If I didn't have so much into it, It would be a boat anchor.
Terrible, poor software, non stop running, wait for 5 minutes for a print job to get through....

It was better than expected

I honestly have a mix view on Canon printers, my first printer was amazing, the second one is bad and I finally upgrade from ink printer to color laser printer.
The printer is heavy, but it is user friendly compared with my second printer, I was able to connected to my WIFI with not problems, the software was easy to install and the android app works great with this unit.
It can be low, but usually all laser printer are, I liked the quality of the printing and I am looking forward to used more options of this multi printer laser equipment.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Problematic - Always probles

I would recommend not buying this printer. Non stop issues. Has a hard time taking printing jobs more than 20 pages. randomly cancels jobs, so you have to struggle getting things printed. It is wireless but but you have to be by the printer to always press a button for it to recognize the paper. So wireless is useless. Not very easy to operate, many options that do nothing.
Worst printer I ever had, regret my purchase.
I waited a year of usage to comment to make sure I wasn't being haste in my review.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Prints posters & daily printing perfectly. Works great as a wireless printer. The main computer that it is connected to has some printing issues. Won't print direct, always have to tap the screen for the paper size & won't print more than 1 copy, even when 2 or more is selected.

Great Colour Printer

I am a fan of HP printers. But not anymore. Canon has hit a homerun with this affordable colour printer.
It can't be beat for the price. Colours are great, fast, silent and an intelligent printer. You won't be disappointed for sure.
