I have used this mattress for about a month and so far it is great. I expect it to last many years. If it does I'll a happy camper and very glad I spent the extra $. I have had no indication that it sleeps hot as I had heard. I'd say go with the best! Ron

I never went to sleep that fast before my Temperpedic! the massaging mattress puts my poor old back to rest! This sure beats the 30 year old mattress I had before this! Thumbs up! PS. I am still waiting on my free pillows,though. Back order for almost a month now.

Medium adapt is false labeling. Mine is so hard I feel beat up from head to toe. So sad that I am stuck with this painful mattress...

I'm afraid I do not have much that I like about the mattress. Starting with the price of almost $2000,00. The mattress itself does not recover fast enough with the memory foam when sifting positions causing you to have to move across to the other side of the mattress disrupting your sleep while moving. The mattress itself is so slick that the fitted sheets keep coming off causing all kinds of tangles. I cannot exchange it because I had tried other mattresses before and the store has restrictions, I am considering posting this review on line for other customers to think about. SORRY

Overall a good bed

We purchased the Tempur-Pedic Adapt medium hybrid mattress around a month ago. We had a memory foam mattress prior to this one, but it has taken us about a month to adjust to this one. Even though it was labeled a medium, it felt softer when we got it home than it did in the store. After a little while, it seemed to be a little firmer, which was what we wanted. We also purchased an Ergo base and I would definitely suggest getting one! We love being able to adjust the head and feet of the mattress. But, by far our favorite part is the massage option. We look forward to it every night! Even our cats enjoy it! I would definitley recommend this mattress and base. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because it took us so long to get used to it. If you're on the fence, try it out! Tempur-Pedic has a wonderful guarantee.

Not as good as I expected

Its OK but for the price I expected a whole lot more. Not saying its bad but the other cheaper brand I had for ten years was just as good if not better and a whole lot cheaper. maybe should have went for the up class mattress.

Not cool

I love the comfort. My hips are not hurting any more for which I am grateful. However, I was told you took care of the heat issue. I wake up in a sweat every night and the bed holds the heat. I live in California so I do not need a bed that holds the heat. Last night, in the middle of the night I switched sides of the bed and I didn't wake up soaking wet. Mixed feelings about this bed.
