way too warm....

I am so unhappy with how hot this mattress is; it has a cooling topper/cover on it that is only "cool" for about 20 minutes; I wake up 5x per night from being too hot; I move to a cool spot, fall back asleep and within 1-1/2 hours I am awake from being too warm. I have not slept a whole night since getting this Tempur-Adapt Hybrid. I am exhausted. I have owned it now for 3 weeks. So so disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My initial reaction to the mattress was it seemed very firm. However, I followed the "30-day trial" advice. Some years ago, I had lumbar spinal fusion surgery and I am very sensitive to pressure points on any mattress. Happy to say that as the mattress "broke in", it has been very comfortable and I get a good night's rest. The mattress eases pressure points while maintaining excellent body alignment. It's proving to be a good investment.

I used to have to sleep at a different time from my husband because dear god he snores like a rogue train. I think the foam absorbs the sound because we both sleep like babies in this mattress. Also no aches and pains. It was a big investment but now I wonder what took me so long.

While my son and his wife were away on vacation, I was house sitting for them. They insisted that I sleep in their bed while I was there. That's when I realized my body wasn't in any pain. I asked my daughter-in-law what kind of bed she had when they returned from their vacation, and she replied it was a Tempur hybrid. She explained everything to me when I inquired what that meant. I've made a decision to get one. It's fantastic! It's fantastic! It's fantastic! The aches and pains in my body have vanished!

Absolutely worth the cost, after 8 months of use I am still very satisfied with this mattress. My sleep has been better and I don't wake up as much anymore. After being in the bed for a few minutes your body warms the material and true to its description, forms around your body providing great support no matter how you lay in it. Definitely will be buying a queen size for the guest room eventually.
