We love our air purifier. It has cut down on dust and helped relieve a cough I have had for months because of allergies. We actually purchased one for our bedroom and one for our main living space.

Dust

I purchased the Alen BreatheSmart 75i for one reason only. Dust. Several years ago we had our ducts cleaned. One year ago we had a new furnace and central air with a humidifier and ionizer installed that uses a Merv 11, 6 month filter. I have a HEPA filter on my vacuum. I have carpet throughout except for kitchen, dining and bath. I have been running the Alen BreatheSmart 75i since it arrived 9 days ago. It arrived in perfect condition and with a filter. I signed up for the filter subscription to get the Forever Guarantee and when doing so mistakenly also ordered a filter which was to arrive in just a matter of days. I had no problem when I called to cancel the order for that filter. I was also assured that I was signed up for the Forever guarantee. So far I am a bit disappointed. Dust is even accumulating on the top of the control panel. Our living area is 1,340 square feet. It’s placed in a location where it gets plenty of air flow. I left it on high for the suggested amount of time. I plan to keep it and give it more time. Very quiet on the first speed. I have it on the second speed and you can feel that lots of air is passing through it. I can hear it but it’s not annoying. I plan to place it in each room one at a time with the door closed while doing a deep cleaning, vacuuming and dusting along with the wood blinds to see if that will help. I have to admit I have lived in the home 12 years and have been fighting the dust the entire time. I am hopeful that after my deep cleaning the unit will be able to keep up with the dust. The only reason I am giving it a 3 is I really don’t think I have had it long enough. I believe that I read somewhere that it really needs to run about a month. I was prompted to give a review at this time so I am doing so.

Great performance!

The BreatheSmart 75i does an amazing job cleaning the air. I move it around our home to filter every area. Mostly keep it in our large bedroom & I’ve been sleeping better with less of a stuffy nose & I love the pink noise. I just bought another one for my daughter & son-in-law.

Everything went smoothly. The online ordering was easy to navigate, with no surprises. The order shipped quickly and arrived before I thought it would. It was securely packed. Setup was a breeze. It is very quiet. I plan to let it run 24-7. The design blends well. Overall, the whole experience has been first class.
