My 75i has been up

My 75i has been up and for 3 days. I live in the Northeast, so my windows have not been opened to truly test the ability to strain out allergens. When the blower in the hot air ducts is going the air purifier drops to its lowest level, clearly telling me that the ducts need to be cleaned, the furnace included. That knowledge alone makes it worthwhile. What I particularly appreciate is that there is very little drain on the electric grid in this part of the state, because it operates continually drawing only the wattage of a 45 watt light bulb. I am more than satisfied with its performance thus far, and the real test will come in the Spring when all the pollen and other plant allergens come floating in my windows.

It seems very sensitive and responds quickly to cooking and the burning of our wood stove. Air seems much cleaner and there is less dust on surfaces.

Breathing much better.

I have COPD and within several days of running the BreathSmart 75i I have noticed an improvement in my breathing!
Also my allergies are not as severe.

A lifetime warranty to boot?

After tons of research, we landed on the 75i. The unit is a bit larger than expected but I've been wildly impressed with the quality of the product.
Whenever my wife uses hairspray, you can see the unit nearly immediately recognize the pollutant and increase the filtering to rid of the impurities.
If you're looking for a unit that can clean a larger space, this is the one for you.

I don’t know what to

I don’t know what to think. There was no literature that came with the machine. We set it up as the pictures on the cardboard package instructions indicated. It seems to work. How would we know? Inexplicably the light on top turns from green to orange at random times. No idea why, what it means, or what to do about it.
And that light is too bright! Good thing its not in a bedroom!
Its a bulky machine and I am not sure it’s an improvement on our sleeker, lighter, easier to understand Dyson ( which also measures VOC’s).
