Quiet!

Setup and operation are simple. I can't believe how quiet it is. We had it on high speed, and I thought it was on low based on the sound. On the lower settings you can even tell it's on at all.
The air quality color indicator is handy, we notice it ticking up when cooking, etc. But then it pretty quickly goes back down as the purifier is running.
We have it located in a common area on the first floor of our house, which is about 1500 square feet on that level. It seems to do a good job keeping up with that amount of space.

Initial Impressions

I live in Washington State and after the forest fires this summer, my wife and I decided to purchase an air purifier for the house. The house already has a state-of-the art heat pump system with a good filtration system, but the air purifer was purchased to provide an even higher level of quality. After the first 2 weeks, I'm quite satisfied with the BreatheSmart. It arrived right on time and was very simple to unpack and put in operation--no complex instruction manual requiring hours of study. The first thing we noticed was how quiet the machine is. I was slightly concerned that it might emit a constant background noise of air being pulled in and pushed out, but we are both, quite literally, unable to hear it at all, even in the dead of night. Fortunately, the smoke from the forest fires has vanished (for now) so I'm not able to say anything yet about the effectiveness of the machine when pushed to the max, but I'll have something to say on that matter when and if the smoke returns. But I feel like I'm as ready as I can be for whatever may come this way.

I love the automatic feature. If the air quality goes low, it goes into a higher speed to clean up the air faster. It is very quiet. Love it!

We researched every air purifier

We researched every air purifier on the market and found the BreatheSmart 75i could not be beat in its class for style, price, and performance. We were not disappointed, it performs even better than expected!
Our home is 6,000 sq. ft. and liked the unit so much, we bought two more. As we live in the desert, the dust and smoke from the fires in California are heavy. These units really reduce these problems and make life a lot more comfortable.
We do not highly recommend many products but BreatheSmart 75i is a real winner!! Now that we have them, we can’t see how we ever lived with out them!! Thank you Alen Company!!

We live in the desert and have two border collies in the house. With that being said you can definitely tell the difference in the amount of dust in the house since using the Alen air purifier. It looks nice and is very quiet while running. I think it’s definitely going to make a difference in the spring during allergy season as well.
