Fun depiction of the movie scene

I really love building the recreation of movie scenes with a Lego version because of all the cute details Lego provides in their sets. I added the ducks because it’s a Jeep thing. I decided to set the scene so I could send a photo of my build to my Lego-loving family. And as for the movie, I love it when the bad guy doesn’t get away - such an important moment in the movie! I have two other sets from this collection and look forward to the build!

Great figures and set for value

Picked this set up for myself almost the day after seeing it pop up on the Lego website. Already I was excited, I loved the antics of Jurassic park and Dennis nedry was a fun antagonist for the movie. He gets his just desserts in the movie and here you can reenact that scene here. Coming in at 19.99 for 211 pieces compared to previous Jurassic Park offerings this is an EXCELLENT value compared to a smaller set like Blue and Beta Velicoraptor rescue at nearly double the price for less pieces. This set is excellent, making up 2 components of builds you get the Dilophosaurus and a small sign and some plants and the infamous Barbosol can. The other half is Nedry and the Jeep, the jeep looks great and only one small change I wish was a working wench, but at this size it probably would be more trouble than it’s worth. The jeep is well detailed and the nedry figure is excellent. Overall, I wish the set had a few more play features but the set is a fun build and for the price it can’t be beat, reccomended it for anyone who enjoys the movies or just loves the dinosaurs.

2nd best set of 30th Anniversary

As a classic JP enthusiast I was incredibly excited for these sets to be released, I did purchase all 5 of them as its a theme and like to collect them (will be leaving reviews for them as well.
>Pros:
*A dilophosauraus which is very close to correct scale
*Printed Jeep Grill (we need more printed pieces lego, stop giving us stickers)
*Nice looking jeep design
*Nice sign to East Dock element
*Good minifigure printing with Nedry being covered in Dilophosaurus spit

*Jeep is not really minifig scale, also the jeep design differs in minor areas from set 76960, not sure why(design of the front and rear lights
*No actual winch attached to front of the jeep cmon Lego...also should have included a tree for better scene recreation element.
*Way too many stickers, lego do better and give us printed pieces, especially for sets that can be collectors
*No working doors on the jeep, along with the other set 76960, why?

Overall, the set falls a bit flat for what should be a special 30th anniversary item especial involving the reason of JPs demise which was greed.

I’m not one to really complain about a set, I really do like this one but I will point out there is a much nicer Dilophasaurus in set 75931. I wonder if it was ever considered for this set? I’m looking to swap it out but wish it was included from the start, $10 more wouldn’t be unreasonable for the better mold. The dinosaurs in the other sets are spot on for a 30th anniversary but this one, to me, falls a bit short. Thanks!

One of the best and cheapest from the JP 30th Anniversary sets. Bang for your buck! Finally having a JP Jeep in lego form was an absolute dream come true! Very fun to build! And I also appreciate the extra bricks so you can use square shaped bricks for the headlights of the Jeep vs the circular ones the manual tells you to use.

This is a perfect little set. Great stocking-stuffer. We finally have something from an iconic scene from the film. It didn’t need to be complicated to be perfect, including the price. This set receives an “A+” from the Brick Professor.
