Regret Buying - loud buzzing, terrible ice production

Beautiful looking and I love the layout. Beyond that forget it. I’ve had it for a year now. Has always been terrible with making ice in bottom freezer portion. I get 12 small cubes over a 48 hr period. Complete waste of space to have it. The top ice maker was ok but recently has completely slowed down. And the fridge is SO loud. It makes this loud, nearly constant buzzing noise that I can’t stop. I’m so ready to get rid of this thing but it wasn’t cheap.

On average, this ice maker should produce between 2 and 2.5 pounds of ice per 24 hours. Ice cubes can be small on occasion, however, if happening frequently then this is an indication that the water pressure in the unit may be low or that the water filter is in need of replacing. It is highly recommended to change your water filter every six (6) months.

Poor Ice Maker Design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our refrigerator was delivered in March 2021. A little over 1 year later, the bottom ice maker stopped making ice, Then the ice maker itself dropped down and blocked the bottom drawer from closing. Turns out that the ice tray did not empty, kept filling with water and freezing, ultimately pushing the maker down, breaking a retaining clip and blocking the door from closing. As I researched this problem, I found that this ide maker is a design from the 1970's that was discontinued due to the issues. I have had other refrigerators over the past 50 years and never had issues with the ice maker. Why bring back an ice maker with known problems? I am very disappointed in Frigidaire and would like them to make this problem right.

In Love With This Fridge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I never knew I could love a fridge so much. I mean, IN LOVE. It was the only TRUE smudge-free stainless steel fridge I could find. And I can confidently say that because I swiped my hand across each refrigerator in the aisles of Nebraska Furniture Mart. Easy to clean. Flexible shelves. Deep, large freezer drawer. Beautiful sleek look. The middle drawer is amazing for grab-and-go. Quiet. I tell everyone about it. It’s the closest to the GE Cafe glass front style I could find, but without paying the price of the GE Cafe :) The only negative things I can say is the doors are hinged so wide that we can’t push the unit back all the way into our cabinetry or the doors will rub the casing/doors can’t open all the way. And I can’t seem to figure out how to lock the water dispenser so that I can wipe it down without dispensing water. My solution right now is holding a cup underneath while I wipe. 10/10. Love it.

Absolutely Beautiful!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fridge makes my kitchen look even more beautiful. I waited 2 weeks to get it, so it was definitely worth the wait. It fit perfectly in its slot and it did not take too long to get cold after it was hooked up. I do like that I can put drinks and snacks in the middle drawer, and also the bottom freezer drawer has a divider and a good size tray for additional ice if needed. I recommend this product to anyone who is thinking about buying it.

Hands down the best fridge ever, 2 ice makers!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After dealing with two horrible refrigerators (to be nameless) I finally made it to Frigidaire, the name says it all! When you are an expert at making refrigerators, you do it right and I can’t say enough great things about this refrigerator. I bought the counter depth, stainless steel, a little larger than my previous counter depth but it fits perfect. The inside design is amazing. The layout is smartly designed with adjustable shelves to accommodate tall bottles, small bottles and everything in between. The door shelves are adjustable and can be moved up and down to accommodate different size items. The middle drawer is simply amazing, its design can hold all of your lunch meat and cheeses and it can be converted to a freezer with a push of a button. And after living for the last six years without a working ice maker I cannot tell you how amazing these two ice makers are!! The freezer is amazing, no frost on anything and even with the bottom ice make there is plenty of room for all my frozen items. I will never own anything but a Frigidaire again. I even said to my husband about a week ago I have never been so giddy about an appliance before. He feels the same way.

Just the right amount of smarts

A feature I didn't expect to appreciate as much as I do now is the middle compartment where we store our snacks. This makes it easy to grab-and-go snacks without opening up the doors. We have also appreciated the power outage detection. We've lost power twice, once the fridge alerted us but we knew it was only for a couple hours. The second the fridge alerted us that the temperature in the fridge had been warm so we knew to throw everything out.

Frig Pro Refrig Lasted 5y

“Pro” refrig failed at 5y. After six wks and a lot of run around I’m told it’s a bad restrictir accdg to certified repair company after xcall to mfg. Told by retailer that it’s not unusual for these to fail at 5y!
Frigidaire/Electrolux not willing to offer any consideration.

Stay away

Compressor failure at less than 4 years old. Out of 1 year warranty. Frigidaire offered nothing. I would stay far far away from Frigidaire.
