Ugh!

Love this as a crib, but like many of the other reviews as soon as I went to convert it everything changed.
I ordered the roll guards or whatever you want to call them and when I went to attach them I realized that the lower support bar comes off and there's no way to replace it and no way to attach anything to keep my toddler from rolling out onto the floor. I have multiples and the other version I have converted easily because the frame appears to be totally different.
I absolutely cannot just leave my 2-year-olds with an open side to his bed, he will roll right off.
Certainly do not purchase this if you are hoping to have this grow with your child.

Beautiful crib BUT dissapointing

The description is misleading. Like many other parents I too believed I would have received the whole conversion kit, I did not. And now it is impossible to find the matching toddler rail! It's a shame since graco has a great reputation but this is just disheartening.

Issues with toddler bed conversion

My mother in law bought us this crib and as a crib it works great but now that I have tried converting it to a toddler bed I'm very disappointed. The whole front part comes off to make it a toddler bed ,but there is no support rail so now the metal base where the mattress goes is exposed and the sides of the crib feel very wobbly and flimsy. I'm very upset , it does not feel safe for my toddler and when I tried to find a toddler bed rail there is none that are compatible with the crib

Misleading advertising

Like other reviews here, I am disappointed to see that the parts to convert to toddler bed are not included. The marketing is misleading and extremely disappointed in Graco.

VERY UNHAPPY THAT THESE DID NOT COME WITH THE TODDLER BED CONVERSION RAILS. BOUGHT TWO OF THESE FOR TWIN GRANDBABIES. THEY NEED THE TODDLER CONVERSION AND CAN'T FIND WHERE TO ORDER THE PART

Buyer Beware!

Like many other reviewers, I too feel misled. Had no problems until I needed to change the crib into a toddler bed. The toddler convertible does not include the front support rail as shown in their product images (lower bar with Graco logo on left corner). Conversion is not included and haven’t found it available for purchase anywhere. The model number/date does not work with the numbers on my crib. Unless you’re ok having your precious little one sleeping on a toddler bed with an exposed steel frame and a less than sturdy frame support (with a non-existent front bar), best stay away from this “1-in-1” crib!

Misleading

This has worked great as a crib, but now that I’m looking to convert this to a toddler bed, I’ve realized that the support rail for the toddler conversion is not included. The manufacturer’s instructions make it seem as if the railing is included, but in reality it’s attached to the whole front panel. Technically, it’s #10, the stretcher bar. I’m extremely disappointed and feel misled when I purchased this.

Do yourself a favor and stay away from Graco

I purchased 2 cribs for our Grandson, one for our house and another for him at home. I purchased the 3 and 1 crib. All indications on their packaging said it "includes everything you need" to convert from a crib, to a toddler bed to a day bed. That is NOT true. You need to purchase an ADDITIONAL piece to convert it to a toddler bed. And ANOTHER piece on top of that to covert to a daybed. Nearly everything we purchased was a Graco product. If you are purchasing this as a crib only it's not terrible, but if you are looking for a true 3 and 1 stay away from this.
