[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had an earlier model of this same stove but it had two great features that this one is missing and we loved those other features. They were the bottom rack that pulled out some as the door was opened and the warming drawer which was very nice for hot dog and hamburger buns. Both features were great for us older people.
One thing that is aggravating is the numbers on the knobs are impossible to read unless we turn on the overhead lights. The feature of illuminating the knobs is nice but the lights are so bright that the numbers are hard to read so we keep a flashlight handy so we can read the numbers.
The thing we were trying to do was to get all Frigidaire Gallery appliances which we now have. Overall, this is a really nice range and has some nice cooking features on it, but we are having to get used to it. We loved the earlier model, and I am sure that we will get use to this one and love it also.

A Mixed Review

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the speed to boil and preheat. Hate, hate, hate the control panel! There are to many layers and what I need is always at the bottom.
I am not sure who you made the control panel for. I have no young children in the house to read it and I don't usually get on my knees and pray to my range, so why is the control panel faced almost straight out at 35" high? I do not have eyes at my waist.
Then there are the back-lit dials for the stove - great idea, poor execution. The "backlight" is so bright I have to block it out to see the settings. Less wattage or use a translucent dial with dark, embossed settings so the light enhances readability rather than imparting glare.
One of my major reasons for choosing this model was the proofing feature since I bake all my own bread. What a bust! Set it to proof. The temp is preset and cannot be changed. It was, what I thought would be too warm, at 100. I put the dough in to rise and it seemed warm but when I checked it 30 minutes later, the oven was ice cold and the bread had not risen a wit, even though the control panel (on my knees) read 100 degrees. At this point I realized the proofing feature would be a waste even if it had worked - I would still have to remove the loaves to preheat the oven at which change in temp, the bread deflates while waiting.
I was hoping for a better steam bake/roast option other than pouring water in the bottom of the oven. This leaves residue and you have to refill often. Still waiting for a water reservoir that you can keep full outside the oven (or tie into waterline) to draw on with appropriate methods.
The food probe has given mix results. Using steam roast and the probe, it made a perfect rare, eye of round roast - well browned outside to beautiful warm and red inside. The whole boneless ham was a different story. Again I used steam bake with the probe set to 140. The 15 lb ham cooked for 6 hours. I thought just the glaze was over cooked but the ham was dry and inedible 1/2" deep all around while reading 140. I will have to play with it more to understand what went wrong here.
All said, it is a nice large oven that heats quickly. I find myself not using most of the features, so I am glad I did not really pay more for them (just bought the one that had the most, possibly useful features for the price point).
I leave you all hoping that this range will last more than the 5 years the Whirlpool, that I replaced my 20 year old KitchenAid with, did.

Love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband was the one that wanted the knobs in the front of the stove and I wasn't sure if I would like that since we have always had them on the back splash. Well I love it. Its much easier to clean and it makes it look bigger without a back to the stove. As for cooking it is amazing. We don't need the air fryer anymore with this model. Would highly recommend this model to anyone!!

Broken drawer piece

I opened the box 3 weeks after delivery since I was not ready for installation but since it was a non mechanical piece they wouldn’t replace it for me since it’s been 7 days after I received my product and I had to pay for a replacement part myself. Besides that, oven works great

stove top

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm disappointed how hard it is to clean the cooktop - just basic crumbs, etc...a sponge leaves marks and doesn't look as nice. The lights on the knobs are a neat idea in theory, but the glare makes the numbers hard to see. Poor design.

VERY SENSITIVE KNOBS Almost set my kitchen on fire

The knobs are extra sensitive and hardly have to be touched by hand or brushing past the knobs to clean microwave, to turn on burner. My house almost set on fire yesterday. I had my noodle maker sitting on the stove top to protect the glass when cleaning my microwave my body must have brushed the knobs and turned on the 2 right side burners when i saw smoke coming from under my noodle maker. I am asking Frigidaire to PLEASE make the knobs more difficult to turn. This is the 2nd Frigidaire I have had in a year. My other one, same model, set on fire in my kitchen when they delivered it.
