Wasn't sure until I plugged it in....Whaaaaattttt!

I mean, it heats up like a dragon’s breath on a cold day, but with way more precision. Whether I’m whipping up a pot of chili that needs slow simmering or boiling a pot of pasta faster than you can say “arrabbiata,” this thing handles it like a pro chef on steroids. The burners are fierce, the heat is even, and honestly? It makes cooking feel less like a chore and more like a glorious performance. Self-cleaning—it’s practically magic! I just press a button, and poof, the oven gets cleaned faster than I can say, “Hocus pocus, make it sparkle!” My wife, bless her heart, adores it. No more scrubbing or battling grease buildup as she practically worships this stove now. Been experimenting with all kinds of stuff now—slow-cooked brisket that falls apart just looking at it, creamy risottos that don’t take 3 weeks to finish; even a batch of orecchiette cheesy mac that somehow turned out way better than the last 10 attempts. My kids looked at me with tear-filled eyes of adoration and respect. Honestly, this stove has brought a new level of joy to my kitchen. Bought two extra racks just so I can create more excuses to “meal prep” now. Told my wife it was an early gift for her…truth is I get to play and call it cooking.

Scratches Very Easily

I bought all new Frigidaire appliances slightly over a year ago. My husband and I are in our early 70s and I only use this range once or twice every couple of weeks. That said, the top of this range already has more scratches than my previous range that I had for 20+ years and cooked every day on it. I am an incredibly careful and clean person so this is not due to carelessness or lack of proper care. Each time I cook on the large burner, I find new scratches when I clean up. All of the stainless steel Frigidaire appliances I purchased dent and scratch very easily. I would not recommend this brand of appliance to anyone and am very disappointed in the decline in Frigidaire quality.

We recently got the Frigidaire Gallery 30” Electric Range w/ Total Convection and it has been a huge upgrade to our kitchen! Appearance wise, it looks so sleek and modern with the stainless steel and black. The knobs have led lights and the oven functions with a touchscreen (that can be locked if you, like me, have young kids). This oven and range has so many great features including no pre-heat and air frying. We have two young kids and busy schedules so the ability to quickly get cooking is key for our family. The range has great qualities like a warming burner and quickly heats for even cooking

Great Interface, but noisy fan

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros: The touchscreen is very intuitive and responsive. The range looks great overall. Cons: - Noisy fan that can't be disabled, which runs long after the oven is switched 'off'. The fan for convection always runs, no matter what cooking mode you set the oven to. The fan will continue to run for ten to fifteen minutes after turning the oven off, so you will hear a whirring noise while you are eating your dinner, which is annoying when you are trying to talk with your family over a meal. There is no way to turn off the fan, so we have resorted to leaving the oven door open after cooking to allow the oven to cool down and the fan to go off more quickly. -- The bottom storage compartment is quite small, you can't store anything except for sheet pans (casserole dishes are too tall to fit inside it). -- The illuminated knobs look nice, but it does make reading the setting of the knobs hard because the light washes out the numbers. -- No air-fry trey was included with our purchase. This is a premium unit, so we would have expected that to be included as it is a major advertised feature of the oven.

HATE THIS OVEN

I have never hated an appliance as much as this one. Bought it in November thinking I would love the induction range and the oven. NOT! I hate everything about it. You can't touch it without it beeping and/or shutting off when you are cooking because you might have put something else on the glass top. I need the glass top for more counter space which is why we got it. But it's too sensitive to use that way. The oven does not heat up any faster than my last oven of 20 years. I hate the front controls because you have to bend over to set anything and if you lean on it, it will turn on or start beeping again. There is nothing I like about this oven. Also when using the bake/steam part, it leaves a nasty white stain in the bottom of the oven. I used the air fryer setting for chicken wings with the pan designed for that, and they took an hour to cook and even then were not done right.

Poor Quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After weeks of searching, I ordered this range because it had all the features I was seeking and had a good promotion for Menorial Day. Let me note that I purchased during a Memorial Day promotion in 2024, just 3 months ago. Already broken. The display panel to control the oven is completely unresponsive. I have a schedule appt with a technician (which is outsourced and the company they are sending has 2 stars and terrible reviews) How does something break after 3 months and I have used the oven maybe 4 times. In my opiinion, this is unacceptable, especially since you are sending a company to my home with terrible reviews. I guess we will see what happens after Wednesday and if they fix the issue. But my fear is it will happen again. Not happy with my purchase, buyer beware.

Great purchase
