Positive except for......

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I originally purchased this range BECAUSE of the many positive reviews compared to everything else I was looking at.
The Only real complaint I have (as did most other reviewers), was the fact that it's almost impossible to SEE the Stovetop knob positions. You can't read Where the knobs are turned to BECAUSE of the backlighting.
It would have been much better if they had gone ahead and backlit the ACTUAL knob numbers/position. Actually need to use a flashlight to see where the knobs are positioned.

Great range

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have this exact range, for 6 months. I love it. It replaced an 8 year old Whirlpool so everything about it is an updated quality. Cooktop is roomy and burners are quick to respond and easy to adjust from very low heat to high heat. Oven is large and heats up quickly. It bakes beautifully and produces a great end product. Everything cooks evenly with no hot spots. Baked on spilled food wipes up easily after returning to cold oven temp. My only disappointment are the backlit controls for the burners. The backlight is so bright that it is very hard to read the numbers on the dial to set the heat level. Beautiful looking appliance that cooks very well.

Frigidaire Gallery electric range

I chose this range because out of all the electric glass tops that I looked at it was the best for my needs and couldn't beat the price. I love the looks of it, my husband loves it because it has actual knobs to turn on the burners. I haven't even begun to use all the features as we just got it a few weeks ago. People complain about the back lights on the control knobs, but I like it doesnt bother me at all. Can't wait to try all the features. I would definitely recommend this range to all my friends.

SO worth it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very happy with my new stove! The things it can do are phenomenal!! Never thought I’d be able to air dry and air sous vide! The Bread proofing feature is a godsend, my home is usually to cool for my bread to proof properly!
I just can’t say enough good things about this! The warming burner is also a plus! Don’t hesitate to get this for yourself. You will NOT Be disappointed!! 5 STARS!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have only had the stove for 2 weeks, went to use it for dinner tonight and it won't heat up. The oven won't turn on, panel went blank. Turn on burner the knob lights but doesn't heat up and the top doesn't tell you that the element is hot or hot surface. Turn on burner panel lights come on but again doesn't heat up. Shut knob off and panel goes blank.

Cannot dim backlit knobs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This range was delivered 2 days ago. The backlighting on the knobs is so bright, it is hard to read the knob settings. I cannot find anything in the manual, online, or through the dealer to explain how to dim them. I have resorted to putting electrical tape on the top light of each knob. It is disappointing to have to put tape a new range. I suggest there be a setting for brightness on the backlight on the cooktop knobs.
