Frigidaire Gallery Slide in Electric Range

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had this new range for less than a month. Overall I’m satisfied with the performance of the oven and stove top. I baked bread and it came out perfect. The only thing we don’t like is the light behind the burner knobs make it difficult to see what temperature you are selecting. I don’t think a light was needed.

I did have an awful plasticky smell the first couple times I used it, but I had read in the comments that that would stop after a few uses, and it has. The burners are quick and efficient, and the oven interior is large and heats well. My only other issue is another also mentioned in comments, but not sure that there is a way to resolve. There are already spots on the cooktop that I have been unable to remove. I have only had it for 3 weeks now, so that is kind of annoying.

The initial plasticky smell is normal and usually dissipates after a few uses, as you noticed. Love my new stove
