Lovin’ the oven!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really do appreciate my new stove/convection oven. Previously, I had a gas stove and I prefer electric. This has been a wonderful improvement over the very dated stove and other appliances that I had before I bought it. I like the electronic features and the simplicity of use. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a new stove. Very affordable, features are wonderful.

Good features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the feature set of this oven/range. Cooks evenly and heats quickly. Gap in back of range by the oven vents collects crumbs and is hard to clean. Also, requires a separate trim kit which doesn't really match the stainless finish. Overall would recommend as a reasonably priced well featured appliance.

Excellent design and function

We still haven’t used every function or the unit yet, but have run it through its paces on the primary functions. Bakes evenly, cooktop does as well, and heats quickly. We are very happy with it.

High tech and bakes evenly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the oven for about 2 weeks now. Pros: The bake function works great and the preheat time is reasonable. The touch pad is easy to use. The top is very easy to clean and the overall look of the range is nice. The oven is very quiet. I’m excited to use a large griddle pan and try the bridge burner feature. Cons: Steam bake is disappointing as the water evaporates too quickly from the bottom tray. The shelves are difficult to adjust. The oven seems to take a very long time to cool down. I had hoped this would take the place of my countertop air fryer, but since the oven takes so much longer in this feature, the convenience factor (speed) is lost. Also, you must purchase the air fryer basket separately. The smallest burner took almost 30 minutes to boil a small pot of water! As others said, it is difficult to read the knobs with the very bright backlighting. I can’t speak to any other features since I haven’t tried any more yet. Overall I am happy with the basic features of the unit but since I purchased it for the “bells and whistles”, that has been disappointing. I could have spent far less for a simpler unit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Consumer reports rated this range as good. But customer ratings were poor. I believe I know why after using the range for a couple of weeks. The knobs are solid with numbers on them but the lights behind the knobs blind you when you are trying to set the heat level. The oven panel is so sensitive that just brushing it causes it to activate. The timer will automatically shut off the oven at end of cook time but if item is not quite done you have to reset whole thing rather than popping it back into oven for a few minutes. Complicated controls mean you need the instructions handy for daily use.I will probably grow into liking this range more with use but believe it could have been better designed with input from actual cooks. That having been said the range performs well. Many features are new to me but with the manual I am learning how to cook again.
