Overall, we are enjoying our new 30 " electric range

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, we are enjoying our new 30" electric range. Its sleek design fits right into our countertops seamlessly. We are loving all of the different cooking features and use it daily, the back lighting on the cooktop knobs is very bright and depending on your kitchen lighting can make it hard to read the numbers on dial. Overall we are very pleased and excited to get cooking with our new range.

Nice range with a few annoying features

The pros are easy to find in Fridigaire's advertising.
The cons:
►The controls for the oven require too many steps and confirmations, unless you want tthe default, which is to bake at the 350°F
►The knobs are not backlit, but instead have light behind the knob. It's so bright that you can't see the numbers on the dial.
►Air frying is a nice idea but if you are cooking anything that drips, it's going to drip on the rack the fryer is sitting on, any rack below, and all over the oven floor. If you put a tray underneath the fryer rack, the air doesn't flow as it's intended for air frying. This is a generic issue with air-frying, but annoying nonetheless.
►The temperature of the warming element is not adjustable. It's great for some things and too high for others. I put a cooling rack over it and warm plates... I think it would be too hot for the plates to sit directly on the element.
►The smallest element is at the back of the stove behind the largest element. It would be more convenient if it were at the front so youdon't have to reach over the largest pot to get to the smallest pot.
►The pitch of the beeps verges on painful for me.
►The oven is very large... a third rack would be welcome.

I needed a range with a depth that would allow the cabinet next to it to open properly. This was the only one that fit into the space and had all the features I wanted. And to be honest, it was a relief that I didn't have 27 choices to sort through. So on the whole, I'm satisfied with it... and it was less expensive that most of the other ranges with the same features.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s a beautiful stove but we can’t get the oven to calibrate so all the temps are off.So far the cooktop is so much better the my old stove which wasn’t old just terrible.We will have to call customer support to fix the oven.

New Range

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are enjoying our new range and have been exploring all the different ways of utilizing the appliance. There is a break-in period getting used to a new appliance after cooking on a different brand for the past 10 years. The range works great, and the air fry function has truly become one of our favorite functions. There are two drawbacks that we are not pleased with. The first is the back lighting on the burner controls. The led lighting is so bright that it is almost impossible to view the markings on the control knobs. The second is the sensitivity of the touch control panel on the front of the range. A slight pressure from one's mid-section will activate it and cause you to reset the panel. Although these are small drawbacks, they can be very annoying when trying to prepare a meal. Other than those two items, the range has been a great addition to our kitchen.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our new house came with a new oven- apparently builder grade like everything else in here. It died within the first year. I did a bunch of very quick research, and everything pointed to this Frigidaire oven. So far it is great. We purchased the black stainless which looks very nice. We plan to get rid of the microwave above it and just put in a range hood. The oven heats up quickly, bakes evenly, and the stove top heats up quickly too. The stove top is not hot when you are baking. We had to adjust the feet to get it to the correct counter height. Use a level :) it helps-haha. I don't know that my builder owns one. I haven't had it long enough to try all the features. It does need to bake off some chemicals when you first purchase it- so prepare to open the windows. I also like not having the knobs at the back. This may not work for a house with young kids, as it may be too tempting to play with them... but it looks very nice and i don't play with stove knobs;) so we are safe.
