[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Haven't done much with it as of yet. Stove top cooking has been good. Oven use is slowly being operated Right now it looks unfit in my kitchen due to the gap on both sides and across the back. Trying to find the right size trim to fit to look uniformed.

Wife bought an oven....

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our older oven needed to be replaced, so of course, I started to do all sorts of research and narrowed it down to two brands/Models. Wife got sick of waiting and decided to just go buy one! Bought this model of Frigidaire, not one I was considering....... To say it exceeds my expectations is an understatement. It's well designed, has all the features we were looking for and is very attractive. Think I'll let my wife buy the rest of our appliances and save myself some time. Great Product!!

Overall excellent design and performance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros: This range looks great and feels like a high-end appliance. The oven door opens and closes with a nice solid feel. The bottom drawer is sturdy and moves smoothly. The burners heat instantly and respond well to temperature changes from warm to high heat. We bought the recommended cleaner for the top surface, and it works perfectly.
The oven also heats quickly and evenly, and provides accurate temperatures.
Cons: The burner controls are a bit flimsy. And, as other customers mentioned, the backlit design actually makes it harder to see the numbers. While I appreciate the light, it would be better to design translucent numbers and light them from inside the knob. But, given the overall excellent quality of the burners and oven, this is a minor issue.
The oven had minor splatter from roasting a chicken, so we decided to try the self-cleaning feature. The smell was extremely strong and irritated our eyes and throats, so we left the house. We hope this was a manufacturing-related burn off, and a one-time issue. It did clean well, despite the strong fumes.

Surprised by this great new range.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had my new stove for a little over two weeks .I've baked perfectly evenly-done muffins to a golden brown. NOthing else in the oven yet.
The top surprised me yesterday. There is a "burner" for very large pans called "simmer to boil" on the right front. It has four rings painted on the glass. I was making soup in a fairly large stock pot. My pot covered two of the four rings. I thought the entire area would heat up. No! It knew the size of my stock pot and only heated under it. It heated and glowed under just the two rings needed. Magic!
My one criticism is the control for the left front that alkso controls the bridge burner. The marking on the control knob is very subtle. One direction you heat the right front burner only. But if you turn it to the other direction it also heats the bridge. Should be made more obvious. I now know, but others may make the mistake.
