[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Appearance and quality is excellent, but frequent freeze and restart deteriorates user experience. There must be something wrong with firmware and/or graphics drivers. It is more unstable than my first Thinkpad i1620 with Windows Me.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

For Lenovo Vantage Updates:
1. Launch Vantage which is already installed on your system (please search for "Vantage" on your task bar)
2. Click the “Check for System Updates" button
3. Run all BIOS/Driver updates as recommended
For Windows updates:
1. Go into your system settings
2. Click on "Windows Update"
3. Click "Check for Updates"
4. Run all recommended Windows/driver updates located here

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I usually don't leave reviews but I just WANT this model to be successfull so that we get more of this greatness in the future.
I've been using The Z16 with Fedora Linux over 8 Months and it's simply amazing.
Coming from Apple Hardware I have high demands on the build quality touch pad & display and the Z16 delivers on all of those points
Even my my Apple colleague agree that the Z16 OLED 4K Display beats the (Still very good) M1 Mini led display when it comes to resolution, color reproduction and contrast.
It all just works and looks and feels Amazing!
Lenovo actively supporting Linux and also fixing the few issues that exist when the model was new has been superb as well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Amazing build quality. Very beautiful. Best screen I've experienced on a laptop (the OLED version).
The Bad
Battery life wasn't great (but it's understandable being an OLED panel). Keyboard is great but not good ole thinkpad great. Fan turns on very regularly even under light load like watching youtube, and you can really hear it. Gets a little bit warm even under light load.
The Evil
I experienced the blue screen of death. The computer restarted and couldn't get past the Boot Menu. Had same experience with two different models. Support said they had to replace board so I decided to return both. There seems to also be some BIOS issue. The first model i had couldn't wake up from sleep and had to do a hard reset using the bottom reset hole. But seemed to have been fixed after updating the BIOS

How is this still on the market?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the worst ThinkPad I've ever purchased. I was excited about a new design, an AMD chip, and the hardware specs, but I wish I read all your reviews first. It crashed on the FIRST BOOT. I don't need to repeat all the horrible feedback -- read the rest of the reviews. My only question is HOW IS LENOVO STILL SELLING THIS PRODUCT? This should be off the market, recalled, and everyone who bought it should have a refund by now. This is a complete embarrassment to the ThinkPad brand.
