Disappointed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had my Z16 for over 3 weeks now, and it has been a major disappointment. It freezes constantly, restarts randomly. The drivers are always going out and need to be removed and re-added. I've contacted customer service, and they created a ticket. I don't want to send it in and be without a computer, but I will probably return it if a fix doesn't come within the next week.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

However when it DOES work, it works perfectly... Hopefully they fix this soon, then I would highly recommend it. In the current state however, I cannot. :(

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While upgrading to Ubuntu from Windows required an A to C USB adapter, the process was otherwise as simple as deactivating Secure Boot and pressing Enter to reach the installer. The hardware has thus far displayed no issues and everything seems to Just Work™ under Linux, including the extra functions of the F-keys, which is nice. Some early reviews indicated issues so I was a bit concerned.
Got Steam installed immediately and Stellaris shortly after. While not having the graphics demand of a modern shooter, zooming into a planet to view the surface roll by as the lights come on when it reaches the night side was quite beautiful. I imagine anything my lady love might throw at it will run buttery smooth.
The glass touchpad and Touchpoint interface both work excellently and pairing with a Bluetooth Pebble from Logitech was elementary.
The touchscreen display is beautiful, the operation for an average user is smooth, and the graphics power at least for titles a few years old is more than sufficient. Considering the reasonable price we paid, I think we got a deal.

Update- Problems Solved

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I want to update my review from just a few days ago. Right after I reviewed the Z16, I noticed a change in the way the computer responded to the Bluetooth mouse issue. I didn't let it freeze. Instead, I restarted it shortly after the mouse stopped working, and it did some internally repairing. It has been three days, and it has not frozen one time.
The aluminum chassis is beautiful. It doesn't get hot, I never hear the fans, and it's a tremendous responsive machine. The keyboard travel could be a little better, but that's the sacrifice for a thin and light device.
I have the 512 GB touchscreen model, and it's perfect. The camera is 1080P, and it works well. I can't wait to travel with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although the design is flashy, I would never recommend this laptop to anyone. There are some serious hardware issues that cause random computer restarts whenever doing any kind of multi-tasking. Additionally, the cooling system seems to be completely broken. Just being in a teams call for 15 minutes causes the computer to get so burning hot that it shuts itself down. The fans hardly work with very little air flow ever leaving the computer. Unfortunately, I will be returning this product as it is unusable in this state.
