[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the lightest laptop that I have. The speed is also quick enough during the application process.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The X1 is easy to set up. It is very responsive. The only drawback is that my cordless mouse requires a USB port, which the X1 doesn’t have. However, with a sense pad, the mouse isn’t really necessary.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent laptop, but have two issues: 1. The USB C connectors don't work well with USB C Hubs, keyboard and mouse keep disconnecting, which is a major issue because the laptop only has two USB C ports, have tried multiple hubs which work well on my other laptops but not on this one, even though I recently bought a Lenovo USB C hub which showed as being compatible with this laptop. 2. The speakers are quiet and not loud.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great laptop with an amazing touch screen. The battery life is fantastic and so far it has performed exactly how I expected and needed it to. Definitely a great work/school laptop.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Most of the time I use my laptop to read and write (I am a writer), and ThinkPad X1 Nano gives me all I need. Crispy characters make reading and writing enjoyable. The size is small (it's portability oriented model), but the screen area is not sacrificed. And it's truly light-weighted. After opened the box and took out the machine, I used 3 fingers to hold it in the air and took a picture, just to show to my friends how light it was.
I usually have a few dozens of chrome tabs open, and have multiple e-books open (in PDF reader, kindle, or WORD), and have google spreadsheets (for collected data) open, and writing in google online docs. And I always have Youtube playing music at background. With all these running simultaneously, I don't feel and lagging when I switch app windows.
Only 2 complaints. First, the left CTRL key moved from left-most to the second from left (with Fn key now at the left-most). This is against the norm, and even after 2 weeks of using, I still often got confused and pressed the Fn key while I meant the CTRL key. Second, at the right lower corner there is the "Thinkpad" label, will most part in black, but the dot of "i" in red. When my eyes are on the screen, this red dot often waves at the corner of my field of vision, and makes me believe there is a stain of some sort on the panel...
Overall, a great machine that makes my work enjoyable.
It was great the first week then the camera become super blurry, very low quality image. The fingerprint reader also works 50% of the time. Also the screen went black two times and I only bought it three weeks ago.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
