[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After a careful selection process considering many other laptops and ThinkPads, this one won out. I have to admit that the lightweight and thin nature of the device isn't what attracted me the most, it was the combination of features, specs and price-point. It is no secret that the X1 Nano isn't cheap, but it isn't cheap, if you know what I mean.
So many features that I wanted come standard with no need to configure: 2K Display, fingerprint reader, and an IR Camera just to name a few. Rapid charging and all-day battery life on this configuration is icing on a very lightweight and thin cake. The keyboard is excellent even with the shallower travel and needs to be tried before it is judged.
While this isn't the ThinkPad for every need, it is certainly meeting my use case so far.

I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve owned several Thinkpads over the years and just had to purchase this one when I heard it was under 2 lbs. The device is a pleasure to use, I love the Windows Hello facial recognition, battery life is reasonable, performance is great, screen is great and audio is good too. If you are looking for a decent all round Windows laptop that is thin and light, this may be it. For those that don’t see the need for the Trackpoint, those of us that have used Thinkpads for a long time wouldn’t buy one without the buttons and nub. Lenovo please leave the Trackpoint exactly how they are as your long term customers use and love them. A Thinkpad without a Trackpoint is not a Thinkpad.
