This is a replacement for my original 15 year old Traeger and I couldn't be more happy with it. So far I have used it twice, once for a Tri-Tip roast and then a pork loin roast. Both came out juicy and flavorful while I essentially ignored them. I also appreciate the WiFi capability because I can use the app anywhere in the house to monitor and control the cook. My old bluetooth monitor worked well, but had limited range. I also hope the fact that this one is insulated will allow me to avoid having to move it in to the shade for low, slow cooking. With the old one, I had to move it out of the San Diego summer sun to keep the temperature down. Through the years I have had occasion to call Customer Service and have been pleased with their responsiveness.
When I first got my old Traeger, I smoked some ribs and served them to my neighbor. He promptly went out and bought one. Just last year he replaced his with a newer model so there are at least two happy customers.

Purchased an Ironwood model and very pleased. Good build quality, easy to assemble and the Traeger web site is excellent for information, support and especially the BBQ step-by-step recipes. The Traeger app and Ironwood operation user interface is very helpful. Only two BBQ meals so far and both were excellent with Traeger’s help.

I bought this smoker when it came out and love the smoking process. I'm disappointed in Traeger not selling the induction cook top as an accessory so I can add it to the Timberline.
