[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We like the Wash tower; it does a great job; it fits our 2nd laundry space perfectly and takes up less space than the conventional stackable we were looking at. They only problem we have is the that 'delay start' feature can only be used from the remote start Thinq app and not from the control panel, same true for some of the other specialty wash cycles, minor inconvenience, other than that we love it. PS - the remote start function is fairly easy to use.

We are well pleased with this washer /dryer ! It is so quiet and, after reading the handbook, easy to use !! One concern we do have is that some of the weights and suggested length of drying are not right. Our second load was for two large beach towels and a smaller beach towel. The dryer weighted and suggested 3 hours and 20 minutes !!! I couldn't believe this !!! I tried the independent time set for 2 hours. They certainly were dry in the two hours. The next time we use it for a large load I am going to time it for one hour....that should be plenty of time to dry 3 towels. If not, I will have learned something and try for 1.5 hours. I am not using the suggested time feature. I am making decisions on length of time from my past history of drying clothes. I am 74 years old.....I've had some long experience using a washer/dryer.

It was a four month wait to receive the unit, but I've been using my WashTower for a few weeks, so I feel I can give it an honest review. It was selected because of (a) its small footprint, and (b) being ventless. I also considered an all-in-one washer/dryer but felt it would be too time consuming to complete one load in about 2 hours before beginning a second load. I understood dry cycles on a ventless unit would take longer than a conventional dryer, and they do. I'm fine with that. It eliminated the need to run a vent to a new location in my home. The lint traps are easy to clean and catch a surprising amount of lint. I don't use fabric softener and have switched over to dryer balls, which work remarkably well.
Overall, the wash and dry cycles do a great job with the normal option being all I need. The heavy-duty wash cycle seems excessively long. The disappointment is how it handles detergent pods. They are not mentioned in the manual, but I have plenty on hand and that's what I'm using. Unfortunately, they do not fully dissolve and leave a gummy residue in the dispenser. I have to wash it out after nearly every use. If I don't, sometimes the dispenser is full of both the residue and water. Once I've exhausted my pod supply, I'll switch back to either liquid or powder detergent.
The contractor who installed the unit discussed the necessity of a drain pan because I interpreted the LG documentation to indicate it isn't necessary. If you're installing it in an unfinished basement or live in a climate where it can be installed outdoors, that may be the case. Mine was going on the main floor, making it a necessity. My contractor was able to find a drain pan in a graphite finish that goes perfectly with the color of the WashTower.
One of the best things about having this beautiful LG WashTower on my main floor is how my husband promptly gets up as soon as he hears the happy tune signaling the cycle is complete in order to be the one to unload the wash and put it in the dryer. Even better, he's the one to unload the dryer and clean the lint trap! I'm not sure who loves the unit more, but I'm thrilled to share laundry responsibilities.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this wash tower. Not having lint flying out of the dryer vent is great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We ordered this in February 2024, and it was delivered in April. We wanted to go ventless since they are more energy efficient then vented models. We also love the fact that we don't have all the dust and lint that we had with our old vented unit. The new washer/dryer are the nicest we have ever had.

Happy so far

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The wash tower is great to use. I have it now for about a month. I have the heat pump version and was concerned that the clothes will be cold and or damp after the full dry cycle. That turned out not to be an issue and the clothes are nice dry and warm when done. User friendly. The only issue with the washtower is the installation. It is difficult. The unit is heavy and it is very difficult to put it on the side carefully without some damage. Also it does not come with hoses or electrical cable. I am fairly handy but it was hard to install the cable.
Pros: ease of use, Style/Design, Performance

Best decision I ever made!

This is my second Washtower - we sold our prior home and it was one of the best things I could have installed to increase value to our home. Convenient as all get-out! Quiet, convenient - we installed in our master walk in closet - wish I had done that years ago. We are now remodeling a new home, and have this same unit being installed. Don't hesitate - put it in where it's most convenient (for us, it's a master closet) and stop dragging your laundry all over the house!

LOVE

We are SOOO happy with this washer dryer set. We needed a ventless dryer for our new house and I was a bit skeptical about any brand/model after reading reviews of these things (not specifically LG) not drying effectively. But HOLY COW, I didn't know you could love an appliance. Granted we're coming from no laundry - taking things to our nearest laundromat, so this is a huge improvement, but this unit is amazing and dries quickly and even provides some air conditioning to the room, ha! It looks beautiful too and makes fun melodies when the cycle is complete. And on top of all that, it's extremely efficient and cheap and better for the earth!
