Great washer dryer tower, but…

I love this wash tower. Having the controls for both in the center is awesome. The quality of the machine is super.
The one thing that is a serious negative is the documentation, both the manual which is useless, the application, and the website. For example, daily tasks, such as how to turn on remote start for either the washer or dryer shows a schematic picture of the controls that bears zero resemblance to this washer. Just press the remote start button and hold for 3 seconds. Hellifiknow which symbol or button is the remote start. I try every button to no avail. If the feature really exists none of the documentation show where to access the magical button or combination of buttons and some hokus pokus spell I need to cast. Every once in a while I decide to try to figure it out, spend a hour trying to figure it out. I’m not dumb. I helped develop the international space station. There is not much I can’t figure out with a proper online or offline manual. This is one example, there are more that would resolve with proper documentation, including proper diagrams that resemble the product.

Tips for Day One

Monitor the installers, a majority of them don't know that the dryer needs the drain hose to be installed. Its a simple process but again the installers don't know about it. My dryer drain hose was located inside the dryer. A simple youtube search will save you from the leaking dryer complaint. My installers got frustrated and walked away after i told them about the dryer drain hose. I actually told them I'd do it myself.
This thing is heavy, close to 350 pounds. When installing put furniture movers under the feet and then level the machine before pushing into place. If you have to remove for maintenance or an emergency the furniture movers will make it easier to slide the machine out from the space its installed in.
Find the QR code for the machine prior to setting it in place because it makes it easier to set up the wifi link with the app. The QR code is on the back of the machine and again once the washtower is in place you wont want to have to move the machine to get to the QR code. If it is in place you can actually still connect it without the QR code. Speaking on the wifi setup the initial password for connecting the wifi will require you to enter the last four digits of the "washtower2----" password twice. So the last four digits will need to be entered two times to connect to the network.
So far the machine has been good. Did a small load, nice and quiet. The dryer took a long time but i will figure out how to make the dry time shorter.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dryer was delivered with a dent and it was never operational! The unit needs to be replaced and LG cannot deliver until the end of February!!! Even though we have been told there are units available in the warehouse. Would not deal with LG again. It took seven hours on the phone to even get a solution.

Ventless all the way!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ignore the negative reviews. An incompetent installer should not determine the appliance's capability/reliability. That said, I did do the install myself to avoid the mess. Not a difficult install whatsoever.
This thing is GREAT! Watched tons of videos before finally pulling the plug on this appliance. LG sold out for a while and it took a month to get to me, but it was worth the wait.
I needed a ventless washer/dryer to save on money. I was remodeling my home and it would have cost THOUSANDS to reroute the vent in my home so ventless was the easier/cheaper answer.
There are newer all in one ventless washer dryers out now that run on a 120v but I decided to stick with this one to separate wash/dry.
The washer is your typical well working washer. It's great. But everyone's concerns are with the dryer because of the ventless technology.
Let me ease your mind and after countless videos on not understanding the "damp" feeling people complain about, you have nothing to worry about.
The damp feeling lasts for seconds. Just seriously shake it off and it'll be bone dry within seconds.
Ventless is definitely the future and I will not miss having a vented dryer any longer.

It’s full sized and very quiet. It’s also ventless and there aren’t many full sized ventless dryers. I appreciate the instruction manual, too.
