I think this set is a lot of fun and the instructions were divided in a helpful and straightforward manner. I'm very glad I splurged on this set! I'm not the only buyer confused by my extra wheel pieces but at least nothing else is missing so I guess extra fun! If you're a Harry Potter fan I think you'll enjoy this set.

Amazing addition to the Harry Potter line-up!

If you are a train enthusiast , you will enjoy the set. If you are a Harry Potter fan , you will enjoy this set. If you are a platform fan , you will enjoy this set. Still amazed at the sheer size of this set. The build experience is pleasantly fun , even the tracks were not a bad build experience. Needless to say , this is a DISPLAY model , and it is perfect in that sense.

Not sure why the negative reviews??... This set is beautiful! Love the overall size and look of the train. My wife and I are huge Harry Potter fans and couldn't wait to add this to our collection. We collect several Lego themes and truly love the larger sets like this one. This set is for 18+ and was not designed to "play" with. GREAT JOB LEGO!!!!

Delightful Set

Disclaimer: I’m certainly not the level of builder as many other reviewers. But I don’t understand the negativity. This set has been a delight. More importantly, my kids love it. No, it doesn’t match up with the track size of other trains, but how could it? It’s huge. And the scenes and station add a nice touch.

The Perfect DISPLAY Set

I absolutely love this train! It’s exactly what I wanted. I see a lot of reviews putting it down for being for display instead of for play, but it literally says “build-and-display” model in multiple places. If they didn’t want a display set, they shouldn’t have bought it. If they did buy, they shouldn’t complain about their own miss for not reading. This set is amazing and looks great!

Great set for any Lego Harry Potter fan!!

I am a huge Lego Harry Potter fan, and this set is amazing! It will look great next to Diagon Alley, the icons set, and of course the Hogwarts Castle! The fact that this train doesn't fit on " standard " Lego tracks does not bother me at all. I tend not to play with my sets, just display them. Thank you Lego for another great set!!
