Absolutely Stunning

I am a huge Harry Potter fan and have all of the sets released since 2003. I love building scenes from the movies. This set includes so many never before made characters and scenes!! Love it!! Now how about a large Gringotts build???

This was my first 18+ build and I loved it. I am a huge Harry Potter fan and have always been fascinated with trains. This is definitely designed as a display piece, therefore does not need to be built for standard tracks. I love the size and detail of the passenger car. There is a great story taking you through the Harry Potter journey ending with the new generation ready to embark on their own adventure.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love this set. It is a challenging build, it is gorgeous to display (admittedly I have a spot in my house that seems as it were made for it). I think the recreations of Iconic scenes is brilliant, and the moveable wheels is a nice touch. My only complaint is some of the places were a sticker was required should have been a printed piece. In particular the number on the side, and the curved pieces.

I understand there have been complaints because of the scale and inability to run it on Lego track, but I really loved this set. I have on display in my dining room. I feel it would be awesome if Lego came up with one or two variations on the car and sold it separately so I could make the full train. Lego could add the most requested characters to the additional sets. Overall really loved it and would love more display trains in this scale.

If this set taught me anything is that reviews are just made by people who think they are smarter than the Lego designers but when I tell you. The hate this set gets is unjust. I bought and built without looking at any reviews of it and i enjoyed and loved the experience you can tell the designers put love into it. It's an amazing display set, harry potter set. It's just so beautiful

This set was everything I'd hoped for. The build was challenging enough and rewarding. I love that there are iconic scenes from across the franchise and that we see Harry from his 1st train ride, growing up, and eventually dropping off his son. The set is a statement piece and at nearly 4 feet, makes a great centerpiece to my collection. My favorite part is that each passenger car lights up and shows us a classic train ride scene.

Needs Quality Checks

This set was given to me as a Christmas present. Unfortunately, I keep coming across pieces that are missing. When something costs hundreds of dollars, I expect it to have all of the pieces. So far I am missing 4 pieces. It kinda takes the fun and "magic" out of building, when you keep getting upset over missing pieces.
I would recommend this to a friend!
