The family that bricks together sticks together!

Bought this on a whim for me and my daughters (15 & 17) to build together. We had a good time working on each part and my husband even joined in. Instructions were simple and easy to understand. This is a good kit for people with some Lego building experience and definitely would be super easy for an advanced builder.
I will be purchasing an acrylic case to display it in to keep it safe from my cats but can definitely see getting it out to play with my grandson in the future when he is older.

Great set for holidays and more

Great set with a lot of value for your money. Works perfect with the rest of the other holiday themed sets from previous years, plus easily blends in with your non holiday cities or villages. Bonus is you can electrify the trolley and have it move on its own.

We are very disappointed. We have built a number of lego sets and this is the first time that we had to stop because there are so many critical pieces missing. Hoping to complete this by Christmas but the set is sold out and from past experience, it takes weeks to request for pieces.

Started a new family holiday tradition with our first Winter Village set and it was such a great time to spend together. Building, talking, laughing, recalling Christmas pasts, and wonderful quality time. We look forward to other sets - psst... They don't know that Santa is leaving the Alpine Lodge under the tree so don't spoil the secret. ha ha ha

Great set. I loved Legos as a child, but haven’t gotten into them as an adult (even though they’re fun) until this purchase. Christmas seemed like a great excuse, and I’m happy to display this during the holidays along with other decorations. I built this mostly with my wife, but then saved the train for a collaborative build with my parents and sister, where we passed off the book every couple pages and traded places collecting pieces. I used a label maker to mark the year of the builds along with who built them. I’m excited to add lights and motion later as well as to grow the set over time.
@LEGO - I would LOVE to see a Christmas church or cathedral to add to this…
