Very nice set - sturdy and a fun build

This has multiple books so my husband built part of it while I was working on another section of it. The TROLLEY is awesome! The buildings have wonderful details and there are new pieces I haven't seen with other sets yet. We had so much fun and there are numerous mini-figures for play. The upstairs over the toy store makes me want to live there and I would love to take music lessons at the music store! Nice addition to previous Christmas sets. The set has added a lot of Christmas spirit to our holiday decor. It will be kept on display for the foreseeable future to show off. Highly recommend.

My daughter loves it. She is handicap with cerebral palsy from brain damage at birth and also deaf with the brain of a 8 to 10 old.. but likes to put a lot of Legos together and it makes her happy to do them..
she has a lot of Legos.. i have been buying them for her since 1981.. also i like putting them together and i am 77..

We've gathered a few different holiday sets and plan to replace our usual mantle Christmas decor with them next year. It gets my son and I into the spirit of the season by giving us something to do together. Thanks for the memories Lego!

Fantastic tram, great details

My three year old daughter is obsessed with Lego, so we filled her advent calendar this year with all the holiday, winter, and Christmas Lego available this season. While I preferred the Visit from Santa set on the holiday theme, this was a great build with the tram a real standout piece and just a delight to build and display. Lots of great details in this set, and my husband declared the Christmas tree in this set his favorite of all the ones we got! The two buildings felt a bit repetitive - the designers did a great job of adding delightful details interspersed throughout, but ultimately you’re spending a lot of time building two rectangular boxes. (I preferred the fun angled walls on a Visit from Santa.) that said, it was a nice lengthy built and the display value is fantastic. It will look great in our holiday decor for years, and we look forward to rebuilding it annually as a family!

It was thoughtful for LEGO to offer this set with instruction books for each of the two houses, the trolley and the street scene. I was able to have a nice holiday building project with my two grandsons. If it had all been in one book, then it would have been impossible to build them at the same time. Nice detail - especially inside the houses. Lots of fun and a great Xmas decoration.
